Got an amazing experience. First time making an underwater game, first time designing atmospheric level and lighting, and for the first time working with a team! :D

!!!! IMPORTANT !!!!
For everyone who are confused when you're getting the powerups, sorry for the inconvenience. The gems that don't pop up messages are powerups and the 1st one is mutation for withstanding saltwater, 2nd grants fast swim, 3rd gives the ability to fling the projectile. The 4th one isn't added yet.
To fling the projectile to break walls, there is a small offset on the projectile, go close enough and hold K, aim with WASD (inverted), and release K to fling it to the aim direction.

I unfortunately didn't understand what I should do, looks promising though
It's for you to explore and find the end, we didn't had time to add the lore so I guess it is confusing on that aspect.
Visually, the atmosphere is really good! If there were sound to match the visual this game would be so much better, but still it was a good experience playing through it!

Really liked the game but could not finish it (8/10 gems) because the yellow one which you had to unlock by headbutting a projectile 2 times was too hard for me. Except for the headbutt mechanic, which I find a little frustrating, the rest of the game is amazing and I've had an enjoyable time exploring and reaching the depths with the fluorescent algae.
Fantastic atmosphere and great game. Hope I could've finished it, but congratulations to the team for the submission! :)
Sorry for the inconvenience! A helper UI could've been better. You don't have to get too close to the projectile, there's a little offset.

I'm not sure which gem gave me the sprint upgrade, but the difference was like night and day. It was kind of a funny jumpscare when I pressed it for the first time and the axolotl streeeetched out. Excellent job on the art and animation! I felt a real sense of wonder as I delved deeper.

Haha. It's intended as the bounds are for player only and the enemies can go around behind it so the collision detection for them are turned off. It's still under development! Glad you liked the style! ^ ^
