Fun, interesting mechanics and exhausting haha.
Having to read, think and taking combat decisions while keeping attention to the time and pedaling was a good combination with the story.
Nice work!
Thanks so much! Balancing those things was definitely a core challenge
Interesting idea and combat mechanics! This is one that caught my attention early!
I do think the tool-tips could be a little more straight forward, but that could also ruin the immersion somewhat, and I'm not against obscured information. I do think it's difficult in a situation like this where players are likely picking thought many games in a short amount of time, but works better when you expect people to sit down and play for a while.
I definitely need to fiddle with it more to fully understand the combat element, but I think you have a really solid base here, and it could be interesting to see where this goes! I also enjoyed the humor, and dig the sort of Earthbound vibe that it gives off.
Thanks for playing!! I agree, I'd love to spend more time streamlining the UI especially (even considering making the menus resemble a POS system)
the monochrome tone gives it an interesting vibe, the gameplay is pretty smart, its interesting to have real time elements mixed with more classic turn based rpg
Thanks so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed the monochrome, I'd love to fill it out with more monster and background art.
Okay, I played for a little over a month and reached CYCLE GOD before I assumed there won't be any more progress :D
I liked it quite a lot, the monotony, the stress, the keymashing, the unthankful customers, my game is actually quite similar. Very good job!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I didn't think anyone would reach CYCLE GOD level! Hope you had a chance to take down a drone or two as well.
I can't believe you managed to get two fun entries in! Had a great time playing your games. :)
Aww, thank you for your kind words. I can get a bit obsessive and stubborn with any kind of game that has repetitive "number go up" mechanics :D
To give you some feedback there: Once you reach a high enough level, the drones turn from death sentences to manageable. Just keep wishing on stars for as long as your psyche lets you, basically ^^
Also, I am so glad you had fun with both my entries, even though one is basically just a quick unfinished blueprint and elevator pitch.
