Really not bad for a first game! On my first run I guess I lost with an "invisible" timer for the moment.

In any case, you've mastered the basic variables, a little work on the graphics and background and it could make a top game, bravo!
And it runs perfectly on the original DMG!

I think you have a lot of potential, congratulations on your first game! The characters seem like they are cut and pasted from a magazine, which was a neat effect! I was really surprised to be flying an airplane at the end (but I like being surprised).

Although it definitely could use a little bit of work, I respect trying to go out and make something! Heres some tips if you plan on doing GB Studio in the future:

Use #65ff00 (or bright green) for the background of your sprites. It removes the white outline that most of them have.

Maybe go into the settings and tweak some of the default platformer settings. Theres a lot but they can change gameplay drastically.

I think its fine for a first project, though perhaps you could work on it a little more? Hope this helps!

very nice tunes! it took me a little bit to figure out how to interact with the NPCs: i do not know if it was intended to have B be the interact button, but nice job on the game! i think to make it better would be to also have a timer to show how long you have before time runs out.

I would like to add a timer, but I'm making a game for the first time in GBStudio, so I didn't know how to do it. If you know this, please write to me it will be very nice!

i wish i did: this jam was also my first time: but GB Studio has a very nice Community! If you ask for help in the Discord, I believe someone can point you in the right direction! c:
