How does your game fit the theme?
The Hero meets friendly denizens of Prospect Part who help him learn to sing the parts of a song and break the curse of the Concert Grove Pavillion!

Did you use any assets?
The character and item sprites were previously made by myself, as well as the sky background. I also used a number of tile sets and sound FX which are attributed in the game credits.

Very cute! A little hard for me to figure out the maps. I love the use of photos. I also enjoyed the classical music focus since I have a classical music project that uses many Game Boys!

Cute little adventure.

I really enjoyed how the pieces all came together and the integration of the gb camera shots was really cool.

I did run into a little bug where after learning (2) songs and returning to the starting area, the text "I don't know any songs yet." still appears every time you sing.

Great entry!

I almost gave up before spending good 15 minutes without finding anything!!

But as soon as I found the fist thing, I got super exited.

Really liked your game! What an ending!

Thanks!

Developer

I've played for some time but oonly found 2 songs, but I have a save state and will continue. I don't know how to move the rocks on the cave or where to use the sword. I felt it lacked music when started but then I understood the concept and it was great! Loved the sense of humor too

Developer

take a look at that debris you are standing next to in your pic!

I've walked around the park a few times, but didn't manage to find any song parts? Just turtles, a cat and a statue of Lincoln? What am I missing?

Developer

there’s a section to the right of the stairs on the pavilion screen with the first song

Thank you for that little clue, haha.

This was a nice little adventure. Four funky friends with funky tunes. The ending was nice and wacky.

The game was a fun ride, I loved the idea and the interactions, I had some issues related to sound delays, but nothing that takes away from the purpose of the game.

Developer

Unfortunately i had some troubles getting the sound to work the way I wanted :(

I see, I had problems with this also in production in my game.  I think this is linked to the dialogue script, from what I understand it waits for the dialogue to advance to release the sound.

The riddles are okay and it was fun strolling through the park.

I just wish the music didn't loop when you play it.
I like the ending when all the people you met in the park helped you to perform your song.
Just wished for a more happier ending XD
