Simple to play and understand, and good fun! Loved the straightforward nature while still having some small ways to optimize gameplay styles. If you add on to this, I would definitely recommend making the stage bigger, maybe adding some turrets like you had mentioned on stream or some walls/obstacles, making the stage more dynamic. Also, if you want to discourage the slow and safe playstyle, you could consider adding a timer as well!
Thanks for playing my game on stream and giving it feedback!
I'm fairly happy with the current state of this game, even if it's flawed, especially since it was my first game jam.
I learned allot from watching your stream, it gave me insight on what to improve upon for my future games. For example, making it clear that you can dash in this game.
It was fun to play. It's a simple and easy to understand game, but it has some of that old school arcade game feel to it. If you update it, it might be cool to have an additional enemy drone type that moves differently to keep things interesting as the game progresses. Also maybe a high score list would be fun to add in so you could try to beat your score.
Thank you for playing my game and giving me feedback.
I agree, an extra enemy type would be a cool addition as it could add an extra layer of challenge and add a bit of variety.
Pretty fun! For something this small-scale, I appreciate the attention to detail here, like signifying where the drones will show up, getting additional points from accruing several drones at once, and the little sounds that pitch up when you get a high combo.
All around a decent game. The most fun I had was gaining agro on a bunch at once and pulling them all to the center. I could see you doing more with this if you wanted to. You could add more levels with trickier layouts. For a jam entry, you did well.
Thank you for the feedback. I agree, I could have made it level based or at least added more saw blades over time.
