A gang beast fan game with 0 explanation as to how the controls work nor an explanation of how to even use the controls. I hadn't even known there was a jump button until someone told me lol
Having the controls on your page while sure, it doesn't appear on the game jam page and instead should of been put inside the game.
while the game looks good, the fun thing was trying to figure out how the controls worked with a friend instead of combating my friend to see who will go off stage first.

even when the controls were figured out, it felt as if i was fighting the movement of my character instead of the opponent.

Hi! Had a lot of fun playing this game! The ragdoll movements made me laugh and I love the setting and idea of trying to push the opponent off a ship! As others have said, the controls were more difficult than anything else and I think a controls/ instructions panel would have been good as I only saw the controls on your page after having played the game. One thing I noticed was that it took a long time to accumulate a point so perhaps the threshold for getting one could be reduced a tad. Some stuff you could consider adding in an update could be a pause/ menu page and maybe some music and sound effects? Overall tho, great game and I love the concept and movement mechanics! :D

Really fun, the way the characters ragdoll and move I think adds a lot of character to the overall game, get Gang Beasts vibes. One thing I thought could add another layer of depth would be to have the ship actually rock and this make it even harder for the players to control the characters, I think this would add another layer of like incidental story telling between the 2 players.

Another thing is I didn't really feel a sense of impact when I struck the other player, I think this could be achieved through a sound effect and/or a physics effect when struck by the other player.

It did take me a while to figure what the pickups where actually doing, at first I thought they just changed the colour of the objects in game but I think these changed overall movement ? I think these having a name related to what they do appear on screen when picked up would help the players understand better.

The game had funny ragdoll physics but in terms of it being a fighting game it felt like you were fighting the movement rather than fighting each other as there seemed to be no real way of getting the other person off of the boat. Maybe a drag mechanic similar to gang beasts would work well, or maybe have the punch knock people back, or even have the ship sway so its harder to stay on.

The weather effects were a nice touch and we liked the ice one a lot as it varied the gameplay and kept it fresh. Despite this, it was hard to initially notice what each effect does, so maybe a symbol for each orb would work well.

In terms of originality, it interprets the fighting prompt in a different light, however is visually and mechanically similar to games such as gang beasts, but the inclusion of weather was a nice touch that we haven't seen in games before.

As well as giving the player more control over who wins, making it more obvious who the winner is would be helpful, potentially having a win screen or even some text just saying which player won.

Wacky fighting game with very fun physics. Only critique would be to change player 1's jump to R or something closer to WSAD

It was very fun but sometime it was hard to tell who was winning and losing and it was hard to hit each other. Adding a win screen would make me feel better as a human being. The Sticky weather felt annoying sometimes.
