Bureaumancy is a hybrid physics simulation and action game. An office worker is tasked with preventing robots from destroying his workplace using recently acquired powers that give him the ability to manipulate time.
Game looks really nice and pretty! The time mechanic is quite good but i think it can be improved by having a limit on the "time freeze". Only found a few problems with the UI:
- Pausing does not actually pause the game
- Mouse disappears in the pause menu
- Sensitivity is a bit high
Keep up the good work! Can't wait for a story mode :D
Feel free to take a look on my game, it's also time based
I like the humorous side of the game and has some neat visuals. Had some trouble with the slowing down the time as it looked like it didn't work with the mouse wheel for me.
We did a physics based game with slowing down time, check it out and good luck!
Visuals are great! the gameplay mechanic to throw elements to the robots is nice, but the freeze time makes the things so easy, I didn't find a clear objective in the game, so I ended throwing things around the office.
The office looks pretty good, and having time incorporated in the gameplay is always a good idea :p, nice game overall
Interesting concept, good to find another Unreal user! The office looks really good, my only suggestions as far as the look of the game would be to tone down the reflectivity of the floor and the motion blur because it distracts from the game scene. This is by and far the most interesting use of the time dilation feature I've seen in a game though! Good work!
Wonderful environmental work. Gameplay is a fun concept. Great job!
Graphics and presentation are amazing but I don't know what I'm supposed to do? What does the blue filter means when I hit right click?
Thanks for checking the game out! The blue filter is used to indicate that the player has gone into time-dilation mode. When the blue filter is active, you have the ability to move around freely at normal speed, while time for the rest of the world is slowed down. Picking up and throwing objects when this mode is activated greatly increases the force of your throws. It's similar to how the superhero Quicksilver was portrayed in the 2014 and 2016 X-Men films.
