The game is a hybrid mainly between a platformer and a survival/sandbox game, with quite a few puzzle elements.

Really cool game ! It took me while to understand how the mechanics worked though :)
Thank you! I know that a lot of the mechanics are pretty hard to understand, I'll try to correct that in an update with a tutorial.
That's a nice sandbox game, but really needs a tutorial.
I do agree, it does need a tutorial, but I didn't have time to implement one during the game jam (also engine limitations force me to use low resolution for all drawing, so text would be hard to fit on the screen)
Love2d is pretty flexible. You can always draw your game at low resolution and then draw text using higher resolution.
Love2D is the framework, not the engine. I'm using my own engine I made specifically for pixel art style games, and it doesn't allow for higher resolution drawing (although I could implement that, but it would make for some really messy code).
Nicely made. Hope you get to finish it!
Cool concept, love the puzzle mechanics. Would love to see music get added! Otherwise I had a great time with it.
OMG, I was so hyped but the game won't launch :'(
Does the game throw an error, or something?

Hmm, I wonder why that is. Talk to me over on the Game Off Discord, communication using itch is rather slow.
Awesome little game. Lots of stuff to do , great graphics and overall satisfying moment to moment gameplay. I would like to play a full version of this. Some improvements on the ui to make it more obvious how to do stuff would be welcome.
Very polished fun little game! Building is a bit hard to figure out (like Annwn pointed out, check the wiki out!)
In my eyes this is definitively one of the best games of this jam! Also kudos from a fellow Lua coder. ; )
Cute and interesting, but hard to understand at first. The wiki page (https://github.com/liquid600pgm/planet-overgamma/wiki) really helped!
I didn't have time to implement a tutorial unfortunately, so I tried to make the game as responsive as possible, but unfortunately the mechanics were pretty complicated in the end and it didn't work out :/
