This is a pretty cool concept :) I don't play turn-based RTS games often, but this was fun to play.

Works well with both Freedoom and original Doom IWADs.

Visuals seem a little dark to me though — perhaps a brightness slider would have been useful. Also, the music becomes too loud when it starts looping in Chromium 70, has anyone reproduced this issue?

One of my favorite entries! I suck at X-Com and Doom, but I love those games and think this was a fun combo. Also nice idea using the wads for resources...Didn't know that was possible. I hope you do some more with this.

I really liked the enemies of this game and in fact the  simple but working design. To  put more doom aesthetics you could have put some melee attacks. Thus bringing the  bold aggressive gameplay of doom. I liked your interpretation of hybrid ,mixture of 2 different games. Do check out my game too 'Platris' as even I have tried to mash up two different game.
