Interesting mechanics, the graphics are nice. I like the gray-scale rocks, and at least the first two plants stood out enough. They could either be brighter, or one of the first spells you get should highlight plants. Needs a lot more basic things, like some sort of introduction. Right away you give the player an increased jump hight, but there's far too many invisible walls on places that look like you should be able to land on them.

I'd be interested in seeing this in the future, but it's unfortunately far too unfinished right now. I don't know if you included any audio, but there was no sound for me. I gave good marks for innovation an theme interpretation though.

Thank you for the feedback! There's no audio. I'll try to pay more attention to what looks like something that the player should be able to stand on. As for the plants, I've tried using the fog to make the plants stand out against it. I didn't do this with the third plant and it shows. Having a spell to detect plants is interesting, but I think it'd be bit of a band-aid around poor level design in this case. I think the model for the third plant doesn't read all too well either.

I managed to cross the initial chasm using Verden's leap and Intervention, but after that I was completely stuck. It's impossible to tell where to go, since the terrain all looks the same, and I can't even distinguish the plants from the ground by sight. I think to progress I needed to pick out which grey rock I could jump on from the many grey rocks I could not jump on.

I think this could be pretty good, if I could get a little further. The giant list of spells is definitely enticing. I'm not rating for now since I got stuck, but I might revisit later.

Thank you for playing! Did you figure out the interaction with the third plant? Once you find a permanent status effect that seemingly does nothing, that's the end of the game for now. I'll be working on this more after the jam ends and exploring the ideas further. Did you find all of the plants difficult to spot, or just the third one?

I didn't even see a third plant! I looked around for quite a while, but I kept getting moss on the rocks confused with the plants.

I like how the greyscale looks, especially with the really nice rock texture, but it does get in the way of actually playing the game.

I can't get the game to work. I just have a white square on a black screen. I'm on windows 7 and my graphics card is vulkan compatible (I already made some experiment with it in visual c++). Hope it can be fixed or at least that it's specific to my computer.

Thank you for letting me know! If you have the Vulkan SDK installed, could you give it a try with the validation layers enabled, i.e. `set VK_INSTANCE_LAYERS=VK_LAYER_LUNARG_standard_validation` followed by `rgo19` from the command-line? If we're hitting some device-specific limits this should give us a hint. What you could also try is toggling between the fullscreen and windowed mode with Alt+Enter and seeing if that makes any difference.

Toggle to windowed does not make any difference. Here is the result of the command line :

Hope that help.
