Interesting idea! I wasn't able to kick the ball, I'm not sure if I got that wrong or if it's a bug.
The art style is pretty nice, but I would try something to make the background stars a bit less eye catching.
Congrats for your submission!

Gameplay: Pretty good but I think I would have liked it more if hitting the ball changed its movement instead of making it faster.
Graphics: Pretty good I think it did what you wanted it to do.
Audio: There were good SFX but music would have been nice.
Innovation: Pretty good!
Theme: Not that good.
Overall: Nice game for the short time.
Can you try (and review) my game?
Hey this wasn't bad; I like the Atari/c64 graphics and gameplay. I dig it.
The game felt interesting, but I couldn't kick the ball - every time I hit Space, the browser would scroll down.
Maybe its a Construct issue, that the game itself becomes a part of the browser, so it does not detect any difference between the game and the browser.
2 possible solutions for this would be to either, introduce a full screen button, or, change the "kick" button the something else than the Space key. (I made such a modification myself - I wanted the ESC key to Pause my game, but it would always exit the full screen mode in the browser. Had to change it to the P key).
It was a pretty good game with retro feel. I kept scrolling down when I press space though. I think you could edit that under the rules of the gamejam cus it makes it much harder to play
