I found a stream vod on this, thanks for checking it out! You did the last level really quickly compared to everyone else, glad you liked it overall :)

I liked it! I think that maybe it didnt require as many of the different pieces as I was hoping, since I could mostly get by with just amplifiers, minuses (i forgot the name lol) and combine/subtract. Im not sure how you could force people to use the different parts though. But yea! Cool game, suits the brief, pretty innovative too. Maybe the timer was a bit unnecessary (and can be cheated by opening a menu also haha)

Fun :)

Thanks for the review lol- I agree with a lot of your takes, some of the choices here were made because of the gamejam format like the easiness (I value people finishing the game a Lot so its something of a prototype of mechanics that have been put together rather than true puzzles- Id say the last level before the ending is the only true "Puzzle" in the game) so I agree that the general vibe would change for a full release. I agree that some puzzles order isnt perfect wrt difficulty, Im already thinking a bit about things that I would improve and cut out if this was a "first chapter" of a bigger game.. in an ideal world I think a full version of this game would start again from the beginning since this is like a condensed mechanics showcase but I know Lyoko would kill me if I made him start again so we'll see on that :) The devlog series by GMTK looks fun so Ill check it out!

Yea this is a fun one for sure, love it. The art style is fitting and the theme is on point too. I dont know if I was being as strategic as I couldve, but the spells were randomly given right? Overall was simple to get the hang of and I think I got pretty far too! Doing the field-wide ice was awesome :)

Got it logged, ty :)

Thank you! And yea, youre right about the vents I can add something in the future to make them a bit more distinct and obvious as non-traversable for the skull. True for the characters getting squashed also, I didn't think about this interaction

Thanks! Yeah looking back I think I could have added a leadup puzzle before the last one but Im glad that players are still making it!

Game has good vibes :) Nice art, music, idea. I think it might have been better to continue using the mouse for the duel instead of wasd though. I kinda like that the viruses werent explicitly shown at the beginning but instead you were on the lookout for something wrong with the files, and work out what a virus looks like during the gameplay.

I really like this game! I think its appealing, addictive, and fits the jam theme well. I had some frustrations in my run from not really understanding whether luck multipliers stacked or not (I had a 5x(?) multiplier on a banana, as well as 2x multipliers from buffs, but I dont think it ever multiplied. Was I misunderstanding something or just unlucky?) I also think that while the overall game loop is great, theres some disconnect between it and the presentation. Attacking a ball in various environments doesn't really feel.. great. I think if you could find a way to make this a bit more logical and tie into the gameplay it would take it to a new level. Similarly, the art is pretty nice but showing it from a top down view makes the grass look a little sparse in the first area, and the readability is not always that great from zoomed out top-down view: red squares and red triangles kinda feel similar for instance. Im giving you a lot of feedback because I know you'd probably want it and I think you guys already know the game is good! So, well, done overall and with some additional visual cleanup I think this could be worth taking further after the jam for sure.

This was fun! Also, the general polish and sound effects, screen transition, nice particle work and splashes go a really long way to make this feel authentic. I had a good time killing all the guys! For some constructive feedback, perhaps zxc are a bit weird for keyboard. maybe not for everyone, but I found them a bit strange. But this was one of my favs so far and I think it fits the theme well too!

This is such a departure from what others have done, I think it fits the theme well and stands out as unique so good job for that! I like that there were lots of ways to use the balls and ramping up speed was fun. I think I saw a comment that the various features could have been given to the player slowly which I kinda agree with. That way the player could spend more time with each and get comfortable with them. Good stuff overall!

So I was TERRIBLE at this game lol, I was getting wrecked, but out of what I was able to see I enjoyed- obviously it hits the theme very well and the graphics and old school visual style is much appreciated, I think the sounds work well and I was intrigued by the different blood having different effects though I wasnt quite sure what the effects were haha. Overall good job! Maybe the game could start a little more easier, or enemy projectiles could be slower to begin with.

This was fun, I tried doing a version that answered correctly all the time as well as one that answered wrong all the time. Funny game dev references too and the graphics were nice and fitting.

Now I understand why you were laughing when I said I will check your game out lmao. Very high realism !

Fun game! You could definitely expand this post-jam with more upgrades and I bet people would buy it

Ahh.. I wonder if it is because of screen size, is your pc 1920x1080? Ill definitely look into solving this if we take the game further

High score: 43296 :) short mode, I got a really picky weapon and got to deny a bunch of guys haha

This is a great jam game- a unique premise that you'd only get by fully embracing the jam theme, and turning it into fun/strong game mechanics. Theres some reading to do but its not a negative trait. As a bonus, some of the names are funny :D If I was to give some constructive feedback, I would say that the font could be more readable for long format text like tutorials/explanations, although its okay to sometimes have some fancy fonts in some other places.

Ahh yea it cuts the edges off the screen when not fullscreened, sorry about that. Glad you liked everything else!

Thank u !

Its a cute game with a nice premise and artwork! I'd say that the little profiles of the animals could be a little clearer because i didnt realise it was a snail at first since the shell was mostly out of frame!

Lets go!!

profit $-5920, so relatable. good game :)
