Theme interpretation
This is my first time participating in a game jam. It is a moon shot project for me.
I Implement things that I just learned while developing this.
I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I develop it.

Really cool explorer experience! The worlds created look neat!

It would be great if could add some music and sounds effects, it will enhance the space trip!

Well done! :)

Nice job! The visual style is great - especially love the clouds! Can't wait to see what you make next time :)

Thank you for trying it out. :)

Maybe it's just me... but I can't get what you are supposed to do here :D
But zooming from one planet to the other, event if a bit cluncky at times, is really fun. I really love the artistic choiches for clouds and vegetation, and seeing an example of flat with smooth shading side by side, something I'm experimenting with too.
I can guess the approach you took this project (first jam for me too!), and I see the fun in making it. Sort out some camera problems, and smooth out the approach to planets (maybe the ship can orient itself a bit when you get close? That would make the landing and take of dynamic seamless) and you have a nice little thing to develop further!

Developer

Yes, I have lots to fix. Thank you for trying it out tho. :)

Surprised you managed to get a lot of parts of this done for a game jam. The planets look really nice!

Developer

Thank you. :)

Feels like it has lots of potential!

I especially like the presentation, the planets look quite vibrant and colourful and the cartoony style of the character and space ship fit that very nicely. Zooming around in the spaceship is fun, but like others have said, the camera is quite glitchy and keeps clipping on stuff. As was also mentioned in the other comments, I feel that making the objective more clear would help the players to remain invested.

Developer

Thank you for trying it out. Yep, it still has things to fix.

This is a fun and pretty game. Although the Objective was not clear in the beginning I liked it.

Developer

Hehe.. It is unclear for now ;) Thank you for trying it.

Complex planet generation, was super interesting! The character is also quite cute. The ability to land/take off from planets and the camera is a little wonky- a way to snap the camera to a certain perspective or view when landing or taking off or entering a planet's gravity would've been super cool. Otherwise- good job on this first game jam! Has a bunch of potential.

That means alot for me. Thank you.

Nice job for your first Jam :)

The planets are neat, and character design isn't bad.

I think the scope of the game itself was a bit ambitious for the time given, but I'm fairly certain you've learned quite a bit from this :)

Developer

Thank you,you are the first one to find my game and playing it :)
