Theme interpretation
We took the "moonshot" idea to mean achieving something very unlikely. In our case, that meant having a nice time on the internet.

The theme is interpreted here perfectly :D
Cool visuals and sound effects. Loved seeing the internet on the internet!
I'll preface this by saying that I don't usually play 'visual novel' games, in fact this is probably my first. But I had a lot of fun with it!
I think you managed a surprisingly authentic simulation of an old-school browsing experience. I especially loved the alternate-universe game/console references on the gaming forum! The UI and sound effects turned out great and I was impressed by the amount of small details you managed to incorporate. You also managed to build up a very unique and unsettling atmosphere and I was quite surprised by some unexpected things that ended up happening. Very cool!
One question though, was the 'homescape' web search supposed to be functional? I kept looking for special keywords that would show results, but the 'GO' button never seemed to have any effect (maybe I just didn't manage to find the right ones though).
Thank you! No, the search isn’t functional at the moment. We were planning some stuff with it that might make it to a later build, but it ultimately got cut to meet the deadline.
Had a lot of fun with the game! Bringing me back to the 90s and the first interactions with the Internet. The virus animation is really cool and spooky!
Very interesting experience! Well done!
That made me remember how little I miss windows 95 :-p
Very funny take on the theme :D
Did a great job implementing it.
Fun game to explore.
Nice job!
This is really fun and weird. I love your writing! And it looks like AOL. My coworkers never even had CDs, much less dial-up. :-) Thanks for creepy nostalgia!
I've been libeled in this game via the character of Snidecooper, but it still rules so i'm letting it slide.
Very original game !
A lot of cool references and good humor :)
It almost feel like the real Internet... but better
