crazy your game just had 4 ratings. It's really good and the game plays really smooth. Your game is a lot better then the screenshots shows so maybe record some gameplay to show it off and convince some more people to download and play.

I really liked it! The graphics, music and gameplay are all really good. The gameplay loop is really good and I really enjoyed playing the game. Really high quality for a game jam game! One suggestion though: the dialogue was going a bit fast which made it hard for me to follow the story of the game because english is not my first language.

Thanks for the comment! And you're super right about the dialogues... since it was quite long we decide to have it go by quickly so that it wouldn't interrupt the gameplay, but it's so fast that many other players also had a hard time reading it. We'll definitely try to watch out for accessibility in future games!

Played the whole thing, really liked it! Lots of positives. Cohesive art style, very well done isometric perspective. I liked that the storytelling doesn't stop or interrupt gameplay. Could be better if voice-acted but that's asking too much for a jam game. The controls are quite smooth. Collisions were mostly well-done but I found some of the collisions on the rocks were inconsistent. The music and sound effects were really good. I got Starcraft vibes from the music combined with the death animations!

A few suggestions: adding shadow and lighting effects would make the art even better; make the environments and especially enemy encounters less repetitive; and add some challenge or difficulty options, as I never felt any risk throughout the game.

That said, overall really impressed. The presentation and UI was really polished, including the minimap.  Little touches really added to the game feel, like the dust particles, animated parts of the minimap, UI feedback e.g. when aiming at the enemies. Killing enemies was satisfying with the gore effects on death. Nice job, definitely a lot of potential :)

Oh my god, I would talk about the bones on this thing making a much better game but I'd have to also give the caveat that these bones have been getting their Calcium and steroids! The two things the game is missing is level count and enemy variety, which isn't a huge deal as they were clearly sacrificed on the altar of playability and excellence. Obviously it's fun to play. You have a great weapon count, almost none of which seem bad given different situations you find yourself in. The levels are clearly put together, with a little lack of landscape variety. Overall, this is one of those games where the loop is so good you want much much more.
