Game description
Battleship + Minesweeper roguelike with dice mechanic

Theme interpretation
I wanted to make a sonar-based game for a while. And "Secrets" fits quite well for submarines.

Great idea, great game! I felt like the numbers were not as helpful as I began revealing submarines, since the field was so small it was unclear which numbers associated to which subs.

I'd love to play this on a larger map, maybe with 5x as many squares and a few more submarines

Thanks for playing my game and your feedback. I added gifs with instructions on the game page but I'll add a short summary here as well.

  • Drag dice to the abilities to use them and find submarines.
  • Tiles will say if they contain a submarine, or how many of the neighbours do (like minesweeper-game)
  • By using the "Ping" ability on empty tiles and the "Depth Charge" ability on the submarine square you will get a smaller dice back. Really useful to make 4 dice last many tiles.
  • When all the dices have shrunk to crappy 1:s, spend a reroll in order to access the better abilities again before being forced to "End Turn" to get more dice.

Good job, it gave me Battleship+Minesweeper vibes. I wish I had more turns to play, and also a specific music theme for the gameplay
