I like the general concept, the minesweeper/battleship combination works well. Also the abilities and dice mechanic is great. The presentation is a bit too windows95y, if you give this a more modern look, I believe this could be a great casual mobile game for example :) Background music was nice and unobtrusive.
I really like the graphic style, and the intro music is awesome. You captured the Gameboy soul well I think. The gameplay was a bit flat for my taste. It didn't feel I had much choice or impact. Could be the start to a great adventure though. But.. Please change/remove the SFX during the talking :)
