Really enjoyed this game; I spent more time playing it than I thought I did. Instructions were clear and it wasn't too difficult (yet still felt a sense of urgency). Art and music worked very well to craft the overall style and gameplay for me was smooth. One of the best projects in the jam IMO, well done!

Thanks for the great feedback!

Very polished game. I liked all the small details of the art, the level design, the overall athmosphere. And I'm trully impressed and a little bit jealous due to the fact that both the art and the music is original work.

Unfortunately, I couldn't pass level 2 due to a bug, but it seems others were able to, so no worries.

Developer

Oh damn, I must have missed that in testing. I'll investigate it. Thanks for playing!

Very cool game: Cool story, nice levels and mix-up of two game types! I really like the way you provided the instructions at the beginning. Additionally I think the difficulty is chosen very good: Not too easy but also not difficult. I needed some attempts to satisfy the king :).

The only thing which was a bit annoying was the flickering of the robot and the screen when you touch a corner. Compared to the rest you deliver with this game, this is just a minor thing.

It's like two games in one! I loved the camera work, the narrative, the emotions on the face of my robot avatar, the music. Amazing work, I had a lot of fun. It's a very complete experience with its own style, and I really enjoyed it!

I completed 3 chapters.

Developer

Awesome, thanks for playing! What did you think?

Firstly, when I got to the ice-cream store level, I  thought  "what the heck, what happened?", but then I got it that it's a genre mix and that is very  cool :)

I like the style, graphics is cute  and the music is fun and  fits the game.  I'm impressed  that you made cut-scenes and  elaborated  on small details, like   a robot tilt while he's moving, that's wonderful :D

I really liked the Game, really nothing to say about it! The Music was really fitting to the game! okey but I have maybe one question... :D it wasnt intended that you like bugged around when you tried to stick to a wall right?

Developer

Thanks! The buggy wall thing wasn't exactly intended, but I kind of liked it. It was a side-effect of how the player character's movement was set up. When moving, the PC sprite will angle in the direction of movement, and when standing still the angle will reset. When running into a wall, the PC flips between still to moving rapidly, so it flips between angles really quickly.

Nice combination of genres. It was good you introduced the keys with good instructions and built up the difficulty, often those are missed in a jam. Good work creating two things joined together along with a story.
