  • The shader effects really help the pixel art come to life here, and I love the details in the backgrounds and environment. Controls were simple and fluid and I sadly I always felt like when I died, it was entirely my fault! Thank you for the checkpoints, I think I would have given up without them. I got a good way into the level and liked how it progressively got more complex - that sequence where you drop down a long way and have to toggle the spikes on and off quickly was pretty evil! A nice concept, on theme and polished. Well done!

Really great game, my only feedback is I think the movement could be a little more responsive it feels like the acceleration adds a delay. Graphics and gameplay are really good

Developer

Thanks for playing and reviewing the game

My god, the art is sooo beautiful! It reminds me of some old games i used to play when i was a kid! Great switching mechanic. Loved the level design, it's simple at first but in some  moments have some fun and challenging parts. It's intuitive also...very good game design. Absolutley enjoying it!

Keep up the good work!

Cool game! Echoes of Celeste/Fez & surprisingly tough in places. Minor nitpicks but I would have liked more gfx when switching between times (maybe sepiatone) and as Reit said the movement was a tad slippery. Super well polished (parallax, small sfx)

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the review, I think the same of the problems

I love this platformer. At first, I thought it was easy, but it became more and more challenging, which I like. The graphics and music fit well together. The movement is a little bit slippery and takes some time getting used to, but I completed the game. I’m happy with the checkpoints, otherwise I would probably give up.

It would be nice to see the game developed further with some more powers/abilities, but overall a great entry in 2 weeks.

Im glad that you enjoyed playing and thanks for the criticism 🙂
I am also not happy with the movement, it feels very unresponsive and it gets more in the way of the main mechanic then support it

beautiful graphics and sound design, challenging and fair platforming whats not to love here, only problem is could be longer with even more exploration of the power.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it, I also think is very short and there are more possibilities to push with this game mechanic

The design is really cool, I like the neon aesthetic. Difficulty ramp up was smooth, and I appreciated the smart placement of checkpoints. Overall a really well-made and well-polished game.

Developer

Thank you very much

The art is good, you tricked me with the left direction of the level

Love the art style and the concept overall! I can see a lot of cool and interesting puzzle interactions for a larger adaptation!
