The combat mechanics in this game are really cool, I think that there's a lot of depth for how simple it is. I can definitely see this being expanded upon to make something awesome! I'd love to see more of it!

This is such a fun game! Amazing how much content you were able to cram in, tons of replayability here. The pixel art is so charming, the combat is cleverly designed and feels great, the music is awesome. I can tell the amount of work that went into making this was incredible.

Can't really think of anything constructive besides that I want to see more!

I really appreciate all the work that was done to make the game's aesthetic! The swaying trees and plants (shaders?), the sundial telling the time, the atmospheric music, and the pixel art is top notch.

Like others mentioned, I was a bit confused as to what to do at first, but the game was so pretty I stuck around just for the vibes. Great job!

Glad it ended up fixing itself lol, yeah browser issues are always tricky to debug. Thanks for playing!

Haha thanks for playing, glad you liked it!

Thanks for playing! Yeah, it would've been great to expand on those systems :)

Haha yeah balance could use a little tweaking - we erred on the easier side to better evoke the power trip vibe haha

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks!! Glad you liked it!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, we would've loved to add some more content since it does get stale after a while - originally we planned to have more different attack variations, villager types, etc. but had to cut due to time restraints.

The aesthetics of the game are really good, clearly you know what you're doing! I'd love to know what your setup for the pixel-perfect look is - I've played around with subviewports but never really got it right in Godot 4 :/

Anyways, this game just oozes charm, the gameplay is intuitive and fun, and there's a ton of polish. The leaderboard is a cool feature as well! Great job!!

An enjoyable platformer! Thought it was funny that you can wall jump off of the golems, a bit of emergent fun :)

Some of the text boxes have so much content that you have to scroll them, which is a little annoying. I appreciated the accessibility settings and the totally bizarre and unique setting. Nice game overall!

Cool game, I liked the music and the sprite work! As mentioned before hitboxes were a little bit janky sometimes but it wasn't a huge issue since restarting a level was so fast.

Fun idea! Reminds me of some old flash games like Learn to Fly. I got stuck between two ogres and had to restart lol. I think that sometimes the controls are a bit unintuitive, when I try to launch myself at 45 degrees it ends up sending me straight up.

I liked the art style and the theme, and the music is fun too! Overall good job :)

Heyy, terrorizing and killing villagers gang haha. I like the art and the simple and intuitive controls, I picked it up immediately. I appreciate the in-game tutorial. One of my playthroughs the villager killed me as she was drowning which I felt was a bit unfair lol.

Great execution on a simple idea, fun game!

The art style is very cool, I like the 2d / 3d mix. I like the fog, it makes for a very cool vibe while walking around. I was hopelessly lost for about 10 minutes wandering around the map and talking to loaf though lol. Would love to see the game expanded more!

A lot of cool systems implemented in one game - camera, day/night cycle, drag and drop, and some cool camera work when entering the cabin. I kept getting lost and not being able to find my cabin haha - I would have liked to see a compass or something showing me the way back.

Really creative idea, and great implementation! Good work!

I found myself playing a lot longer than other game jam games :D The art style is perfect, and the idea of bears and farming was intriguing enough that I found myself sucked in.

I was a little confused on what to do at first (didn't see the "actions" and "end season" buttons) but figured things out easily enough.

Overall it seems like a lot of work went into this - awesome job!!

Seems like you had a great mechanic and polished it like crazy! The sprites, background art, particle effects, animations, sound design, and music all come together really well - I found it really satisfying to play.

The leapers are so fun! Watching them jump over walkers, or jump into flyers brought me a lot of joy :) Overall a really well designed experience, I hope to see more of it!

One of the coolest game jam games I've seen! I'd love to learn how you did the 2D projected onto a storybook technique. Super charming art style, and the difficulty was just right for me. My fingers hurt from mashing the J key lol.

Awesome job!!

Really great game, I love the art style. Requires some precision which I'm terrible at, but it frustrated me but in a good way! Awesome job :)

Fun little game, and I liked all the particle effects! Seems like it was a fun project to build :)

This game is really impressive, I had a lot of fun with it! Great sound design, nice tutorial, and the gameplay was simple but engaging and intuitive. Awesome job!

Fun little game, and really nice usage of the retro-style palette!

The contract mechanic was really clever, I loved it! The music was great, I liked the CRT post-processing effect. Overall really great job on this game, I had a lot of fun playing it :)

Fun little game! Controls were a bit hard to get used to. Loved the cute story and the design was overall very nice :) Great job!

Fun little collect-a-thon! Would love to see it expanded upon!

Fun game, I see a lot of potential with the concept! Had to get used to the aiming with the WASD keys. Hope you flesh it out more, would love to see where it goes.

I liked the vampire survivors-style gameplay! Art was cute. Good job

I love the mechanic, really innovative. I did get stuck at the end, it looked like the dad never opened the gate so I went to the right and phased through the fences lol. But after that I couldn't find a way out, not sure if I was soft-locked... overall liked the idea, and great art too!

The design is really cool, I like the neon aesthetic. Difficulty ramp up was smooth, and I appreciated the smart placement of checkpoints. Overall a really well-made and well-polished game.

The art style is great. That dyson sphere animation is really well done! Can I ask what tools you used to make it?

This is a really impressive game! The art style is awesome, and there is a ton of content / depth to the mechanics for a game made in such a short span of time. Really awesome work!

Great little game! The post-processing effects were cool. Good job!

Loved the speedrun gameplay, swinging the sword and running forward with the momentum felt great! Overall really impressed with this :) great job!

The UI was cut off for me and it was a bit hard to understand what the different shapes meant. Liked the concept and the design though!

The plasma ball effect is super well done, so cool :) Great job!

Really fun concept, the design was really polished! I ended up getting greedy with thermal and nuclear and saw my power economy collapse... should have gone for more renewables!

Really polished, level design was great with a very satisfying difficulty curve. Loved the minimal aesthetic. Overall a really well executed game!

Surprisingly satisfying yet simple puzzle mechanic, and very relaxing to play. Great job!
