Nice little tutorial, unfortunately I couldn't make it past the double jump and so I just ended up under the world and had to reload the page. Don't be discouraged though, working to such a tight deadline is hard and working with a larger group of people doesn't necessarily make it easier, especially if you're not used to working together.
You submitted something and you should be proud of that.
That was exactly intended. However, it was supposed to kill you and that would have loaded the actual game. That part was missing because of miscommunications. We had the concept that missing that double jump would wake you up in some sort of purgatory where you would have to work your way to heaven (or hell) based on your choices.
We are proud that we got something posted, but it always sucks when your idea doesn't come to fruition.
I liked the way you explain the mechanics! Maybe the double jump could be a bit more forgiving. And I had to restart the game each time I dropped down. You could add a trigger below the main stage that just restarts the level.
Thank you! See the response I gave above you. We meant to make the double jump impossible. Just never got around to getting the game to work the way we actually intended. That was supposed to get you to the actual start of the game. ;)
Hey, the bit I played seemed to control pretty well. Keep at it and keep experimenting until you find something that works for you!
cool game and realy fun instuctions :) thanks for sharing.
Pretty smooth mechanic. Good visuals too. Can create a great platformer out of this.
Thank you so much! We did our best but never got to do what we set out to do. I may well try to get my idea to life now that the jam is over.
You don’t need a jam to make a game, keep at it and flesh it out!
So So sorry, Don't give up, Hope you get motivated to finish it !
The game itself isn't really good. However, your team's effort is valuable . Next time, I hope you guys will develop a better game.
Carry on. It would be nice to see this finished. Next time
Unfortunate that you didn't get to execute your ideas for this game, but still, nice job submitting!
Hi, your GitHub link returns a 404 for me. Please make the link public.
I read the comment wrong at first. It is fixed now.
