Thank you so much! Yeah the initial idea was to have 3 upgrade options to choose from in between waves in of course a limited amount of time, so you would have to make quick choices. Unfortunately time was an issue there.

Wow! Seriously? That is nuts! Well done!

Loved the aesthetics of this game. What got me a little off balance was the controls in combination with the camera movement. I was a little lost at times, and it doesn't help that you can get stuck behind a pillar that way. Overall the game was very much fun to play and I really enjoyed it.

Very nice game, that perfectly sets the theme. Nice story as well, that really gets the mood going. I would definitely play more of this game. Sound effects could get a little more variation using different pitches, but overall very interesting and nice to play.

Very nice looking game, if I would criticize it would be more that the theme is only loosely followed. It plays very well. Overall a good game.

Absolutely stunning game to play, I love the aesthetics of this game, had a lot of fun playing it. Puzzles were not the toughest, but still interesting. I only fail to see the theme for this game!

I liked the whole idea of this game, but for me it was really hard to get anywhere really. The reloading of the gun took long, which made it hard for me to keep the vampires out, and the repairing of windows and doors, seemed to be very precise for it to work. Overall very nice game, but I couldn't get very far unfortunately.

Very nice game, I had a ton of fun and actually did pretty ok. A little more variation in aliens would have been nice. Reloading was a little slow to keep enemies away. Maybe it would have been nice to let the player know when the next wave begins. All in all great game!

I liked playing this game, but there are some easy QoL things that would make it a lot better. We have 10 opponents and a huge world to search for them. The controls are a little unresponsive and that makes driving a little unpleasant at times. It does have some awesome moments, when you crash straight into another car.

Thank you so much, there are so many things to look at, especially when you are in the final stretch and you inevitably will miss some. Thanks for the nice words!

Yeah, I think I had one of those bugs myself, just before we submitted. Thank you for the nice words though!

I love the look and feel of this game, it is amazing what you accomplished in such a short time as well. I found the combat pretty hard as the enemies suddenly get the jump on you somehow.

Absolutely awesome idea and it looks amazing as well. The mouse movement jumping felt a little awkward to me, but very original for sure. Overal great game.

Yeah, you are totally right. We had originally planned to have 3 random upgrades pop up at the end of each wave, where you would choose which one to use to upgrade either your player, your relic, or receive a random power up. Also we wanted to dress up the level much more, which we in the end never got around to do.  Thank you so much for the nice comments. I've put your game on my list to check out, but I didn't have a chance at work to download it yet.

What a cute little game this was. I unfortunately didn't have a controller at hand and that meant that the tutorial couldn't be finished as the space bar wasn't functioning. But I really liked the idea and the look and feel for this. Very good!

Hey there, that was originally in the planning. After each wave we had thought to show a list of 3 random upgrades, either to the player or the tower, but we lacked the time to properly implement that. We also wanted to have some small voice over jokes in there, but alas, time was not on our side for that. ;) I am glad you liked it!

There will definitely be a few things that I will be "borrowing" for my game. Nicely done!

Very nice! I was thinking about something like this when I started but in 2.5D, I never got to make anything that worked, but I am quite sure I will revisit this later. Very nice! My compliments!

I can't fight that boss really. For me it is impossible to click both sides and focus on staying in the air, dodging the pipes etc. But it is very nice!

I know unfortunately a refactor broke everything. Will work on it again when voting is over. Thanks for checking it out.

Think that was a mistake, I was trying to submit Parallel Paradox.

We will keep working on it. The pressure didn't help, unfortunately. We were all learning though, so that's good! Thank you for your nice comment

Thank you so much! We did our best but never got to do what we set out to do. I may well try to get my idea to life now that the jam is over.

Thank you! See the response I gave above you. We meant to make the double jump impossible. Just never got around to getting the game to work the way we actually intended. That was supposed to get you to the actual start of the game. ;)

That was exactly intended. However, it was supposed to kill you and that would have loaded the actual game. That part was missing because of miscommunications. We had the concept that missing that double jump would wake you up in some sort of purgatory where you would have to work your way to heaven (or hell) based on your choices.

We are proud that we got something posted, but it always sucks when your idea doesn't come to fruition.

Very well done! I wish my game came even close to that. Was a bit confusing at first but I liked it. And the fun thing was that you could just cheat your way to victory as well.

Thank you for that comment! Right now I really think it is very sad what we turned in in the end, but it couldn't be helped.

What an original way to work with this theme and what a way to create a 2d side scroller. The mechanics work fine but get frustrating when it is really slow. I do love the storytelling you are doing here though and it is a very nice way to play with something that is so heavy. I am fortunate enough not to have lived through depression so far although I think I have been on the edge before. My compliments to you!

I definitely will, because I am still a n00b, had my first game jam and it really went all wrong because of bad communications etc. I want to learn though and will do another jam in june.

Looks awesome, got stuck pretty fast though unfortunately. Figured I would need the cannon and cannonball to blast through the wall, but couldn't get to it when it fell on the left to the wall. Anyway, it looks awesome. Could have used a little story though to tell the player what is going on.

It is a beautifully crafted game, I had a lot of troubles with the mechanics however which took some of the fun out. I can only applaud you however for making something this elaborate in such a short time. Very nicely done!

Cool idea! Really like the way you have to do like a Squid Game puzzle to find your way. The only thing that would be cool as an improvement, is if you could somehow know which tile to stand on, like in Squid game they could figure it out (sort of)

I read the comment wrong at first. It is fixed now.

Thank you for that comment, unfortunately, I had no time to help in the end, but that idea came from me so it is very nice to hear that the jumbling text on the door was liked.
