I cant believe I just played that in a jam! I was flying around Brazil!!! Ive never been one for flying simulators, but after that I want to give them another chance! Thank you! :-D

Developer

Thank you so much for playing!

Glad I could give you a nice experience with flight simulator, if you want you can try Microsoft's simulator, it's really great and has fantastic visuals :)

the graphics are amazing, and the gameplay is very smooth and fun good job! you have a great future!!

Developer

Thanks! I Really appreciate it.

Aesthetically this game is very nice, and the gameplay is fun too! Like others have said though not really sure what it has to tie into the theme, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad point, my game doesn't have much either other than a cheap "You died!" screen at the beginning 🤣

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

I had a nice gameplay idea in mind and kinda figured the story afterwards 😄

Great use of the real world data, the plane has a good feeling to it, and good sound feedback on the power of the engine. I'm curious, the rain is a component attached to the airplane, right? It bends in the direction of the airplane, so that's why I thought you may be doing it that way :D.

Developer(+2)

Thanks a lot!

Yeah the rain was attached to the player, I hoped no one will notice but that didn't work out 😄

The game itself was pretty fun! I would love to know how you did the world streaming with geometry, that was a really cool feature. I wish the view distance was a bit higher but I totally understand why it wasn't due to technical limitations of the players computer. I also wish we could fly around as the bird. IDK if it was a glitch or something else happened, but once I got to that cutscene it sent me back to the main menu and then my mouse stopped appearing and I couldn't click on anything.

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

The world streaming is called "WRLD for Unity"

I wish I had enough time to make the bird fly but unfortunately I had a very busy week so I didn't figure it out.

Great idea. Maybe done with Unreal will have better performance with the level generation. Unfortunately, Rio's last ring didn't trigger level change so I got stuck flying in Rio :). I also don't see the topic of the Jam.

Anyways, keep up the good job!

Developer

Thanks!

Yeah Unity is kinda slow with loading times, I would like to learn Unreal in a couple weeks from now.

Pretty strange that it didn't load, there are 4 rings, maybe you didn't collect the one on the mountain?

Cool game

Fun game play. Its a bit hard to see where you are when you get close to the ring(depth perception). And yes I don't know what this has to do with the theme but cool game anyway.

Yeah I get what you are saying about the ring and depth perception, didn't thought about it before releasing the game.

What does this have to do with the theme 'Death is only the beginning'?

Developer

Hey, at the end there another scene that ckimda connects ot to the theme
