Nice intro.  Gets you invested in the story.  Not sure how the player comes back tho to extract revenge.  The end boss looked no different from anybody else so I was surprised that it ended.  Shooting on the road I couldnt see my bullets.  I gotta see bullets everywhere.

The player stuck shooting straight and the enemies shoot towards you is a little unfair.  Having the mouse button to shoot would feel a lot better with aiming for the mouse position.  The new input system has mouse position also as mouse button. :)

I got revenge

I loved the gameplay here! If you built this up to a full game, I would buy it.

I had fun playing this. I did get stuck on a playthrough where I was in the gaps between the rooms. Not sure how I got there.

Solid top-down action game. I imagine it would be more fun if you could use the mouse to control the aim. The background music is lit! Kudos for adding a story, but I had some problems with it. Did the wife return from the dead? If so, I'd expect some restraints or supernatural abilities. It would have worked better (for me), if it was a revenge story like Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill, where the protagonist was meant to be killed but survived.

Yeah I did not have enough time to make more than one level, but my inspiration was a Kill Bill kind of story! Initially I wanted a sort of tutorial level where you wake up and need to go find a gun, but I was too busy at work to pull this off within the time frame

Its a fun game, the shooting direction could be better, but I had a lot of fun.

Fun game and cool story. Wish It had more levels and/or enemies. Good job overall!

I really liked this game, the only thing which held it back is the lack of music and ability to shoot in any direction - leads to some awkward enemy encounters where you have to run past them to line them up in a direction.

Overall, good story and fun game!

Yeah I totally hear you for the shooting! I think this kind of shooting would have worked better if I had constrained all movement (enemies and player) to the grid, then that kind of shooting-where-you-are-looking would make more sense in that context, kind of like an old GBA game.

Also, there is music (or a looping ambient track) in every single scene, although I lowered the volume a bit to ensure it was not too distracting. I had no issues with the music when I tested the build but I will check with other devices in case something went wrong, I will try to figure it out!
