Hey all! I decided to upload my entry to the game jam earlier than usual, so the game isn't finished yet. It only goes up to stage 6, but I'd heavily appreciate some feedback! Thank you https://ocamper.itch.io/afterlife-duo

hmmm - does nothing - after the cutscene a room appears with the text “move with A, D” but … nothing. no keys, no playable figure, no reaction on any input, can’t even quit. needed to set the tab to silence, as even the music refused to stop when hitting the back button

Hmm... thats odd, I understand that happened in the browser version? I'll look into the issue, thanks for the heads up!

sure! yes - in the browser version, sorry for not mentioning it first place i had problems on itch with my browser version too…

their embedding is not the best

Yeah i'll also look for a solution on embedding, for now the temporary solution is trying to play it on fullscreen but I understand thats not really ideal

Unfortunately I couldn't manage to recreate and fix the bug you experienced, but I did get the embedding right so thank you for the tip!

We tried the game and we thought the concept and gameplay was very interesting and fun! Would love to complete the rest of the levels when they come out :)
The only thing that could be improved is the visual aspect, as better assets would increase the charm, so maybe something to consider for the future!

Thank you for playing the game! I'd still like to continue working on the game in the future so I'd try to change most of the assets – I'm no artist and since I had no team to work with I tried doing my best on Microsoft Paint which probably wasnt a good idea lol. I'm not able to offer any paid work so I'll try looking for somebody to help me remake the assets voluntarily, although it'll be difficult
