The game was so much fun tat I actually got dissappointed when my screen got stuck on an event screen, I only heard the clicking sounds but no buttons would react. Besides that, lovely game, I would actually buy the finished version. Music is nice, graphics are awesome, lovely game!

I love the music you used! Very jaunty. Gorgeous UI, too! I love the in-game explanatory tooltips for everything.

You were the only person on this team? And in five days?!? Astonishing. I might need you to be MY teacher. :') Though it sounds like it's just a passionate hobby for you, but you could have fooled me!

I LOVE the character names, and their voice effects! Wait, did you do those yourself too?! Incredible. The art is also amazing.

Hahaha, I discovered this by accident, but if you pause the game, then click a character a bunch of times, then unpause, it will play their vocal reaction stacked multiple times together.

Honestly, I think this is going to rank really highly in multiple categories. Fantastic entry!

Nice game. At one point one of the options seemed to hang, then suddenly it started working again. But I could no longer build anything. Then a bit later an option hung again. For a one person game jam game there's a lot to keep in mind and debug though. Only thing I would say on that is the second edit doesn't sound like a game breaking bug fix but more gameplay improvement. I wish I'd seen it before that to understand what you achieved in the jam (which is obviously a lot) better. But anyway, you set yourself a big challenge and I think you succeeded.

Hey! :D Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes you get runs without any bugs and sometimes quests hang. I dunno, why... And to the "game-breaking-bug". You are right. It wasn`t 100% gamebreaking. Players just couldn`t make it to the end and a gamejam wouldn`t make sense if you couldn`t show, what content you created..But in both uploads there was nothing changed except for some variables like spawn-probability. or a -2 instead of a 2. No Code was changed, nothing was added if you are concerned. ;)

I like this game A LOT! So much so that I tried to play this through 3 times. The 1st and 3rd time, the game got stuck during one of the challenge events. Nothing happens when I click either the check or the cross. On the 2nd run, a pack of monsters came into town. The villagers got rid of every monster except for one.  For whatever reason it won't die and end up killing everyone in the village. D: Great game still, I would play again and again if those (what I assumed to be) bugs are fixed.

As a city simulators enjoyer, this clicked instantly for me. Good job so far. Although there's so many stuff to play with, I like that the player isn't forced to use every mechanic to win: you can just keep building stuff until you win or you can finetune every villager to optimize resources.

The random events are a nice touch, although sometimes the resources asked may be a bit too much for early game. The font for the UI is nice, but I think its kind of rough to the eyes when the size is small, but that may be just me.
