Wow, this looks really interesting from the screenshots! Can’t wait!

Oh, this is a pretty neat game, and it’s made it Godot!! The only feed back I have is that there are rare instances where two sharks would jump up at the same time, and the arrow icon for the first one kind of blocks the icon for the second. You can still make it out, but I would prefer the icon behind to be a little clearer. Otherwise, great job!
The mechanics for this game is really interesting. Would be nice to know if I had already clicked on a house/church (those not in the adjacent 6 tiles) for heal. Was hoping that the church would heal more than the house. Perhaps a bit more indication of what’s a danger and what’s a heal and by how much. For me this is a hidden gem. Very nice job!
Edit: Kay is a she/her. I had made the same mistake before.
After playing many other jam games, I still find this one my favorite in terms of visuals. So, I decided to give it another go. Thanks for the tips! I see now that there is a “How to Play” section, and knowing how to play makes a big difference.
I love how serene the resource gathering side looks. I wish I could spend more time exploring there rather than racing against the clock to collect ores.
On the defense side, I just realized you can defend alongside your turrets by shooting at the enemies. However, I noticed my focus should really be on racing against the clock and picking up the drops.
With such beautiful visuals, it feels like a waste that on both the gathering and defense sides, the player is mostly mining ores or picking them up while looking down. I would prefer being able to explore the scenery more on the gathering side and see more explosions and action on the defense side. (The action is up in the sky, but my attention is on the ground.)
Of all the games I played in this jam, I really think this one might have the highest potential for commercial success. I think the player experience could be greatly improved if more of it involved exploring or engaging with the environment, rather than mining or staring at the ground.
The game looks awesome, so great job! I didn’t realize the iceberg would shrink. So this is a race against time kind of game. I couldn’t figure out if there’s a way to make the penguins jump farther, so I kept on losing penguins. After a couple failed attempts at level 2, I had to give up and move on to another game.
This seems like an ambitious project. I really enjoy city builder/resource management games and would love to give it a proper play when there’s a tutorial. Currently, there are too many things to figure out. The notifications take up too much of the screen, and it’s unclear which ones are important. The art style is great, very pleasing. It’s impressive that this was all done in just 10 days. Great entry!
