This game is very fun and addictive. My feedback would be to maybe start off with a smaller map first?

I found the game really fun. The game has simple mechanics that are easy to understand. Without sacrificing any of the fun. It would be nice if their was some keyboard shortcuts to changing spells though. I also think it would be nice if there was some explanation on what to do with the tiles with spikes. The sound effects were nice but I didn't really think the regrowth sound effect fit. It would be nice with some sort of background music. I hope you continue to work on the game after the jam as it has a lot of potential.

My OCD wouldn't let me stop.  The mechanic did get a bit repetitive but I think that's why I couldn't stop... I was like, this isn't going to beat me.  There was one section on top where only 1 tile touched on either side.  The buttons were very small on the top left hand side, so maybe a shortcut to change the spell would have been good, or maybe there was a shortcut and I didn't know it.   I couldn't purify and then swap to the life burst fast enough because of how small the buttons were and how long it took me to get the mouse to click on the different spells.  So I ended up having to go around the entire map through the bottom and then up and attack it from both sides.  Once I got the entire map green with all the trees and leaves regrown, the game didn't end.  I tried to set all the trees and roses to max, but they kept lowering a bit slowly even with all of the tiles around set to 50.  It would have been nice to have some kind of reward screen at the end. :)  Good job creating this solo.

I think you have something there with the mechanic. First it took me quite a while to understand what I was doing, but as you mentioned before tutorial was missing which I understand completely with the time pressure.

I think the gameplay itself after a while ended up a bit repetitive, I think more powers and more often some tiles to actually change would make it more fun to see that what you do makes a difference. I went for the first skull and changed it and I enjoyed seeing it grow to a rose as well!

It has it's moment and with some time and polish I'm sure it could be very fun!

Hi. I tried the game. However, I couldn't figure out what to do. Some instructions would be helpful.

Yeah I know, run out of time before I can make anything like a tutorial. If you want to give it another go, the idea is to revive the land. Start by switching to the spectral dimension (I just made that name up right now) and cast purify on the flower. Then switch back to normal and start spreading as much grass as you can. At some point you won't be able to spread anymore since the bones are generating dark energy and killing your grass, so switch back to the spectral dimension and start using your spells to fight back and continue gaining ground.
