Fun game, enjoyed playing it. Really liked the graphics etc, fit really well!

It was fun, liked killing the spiders. The aim is a bit off, and a visible cursor might have helped. Also, when you go under something the camera snaps super close to your character. Not a bug, but definitely a bit jarring. Would have loved some nice spider killing music running

The gameplay felt a bit repetitive, and the environment didn't really back up the story. The lack of cursor (not sure if this was just for my computer though)combined with the low framerate made it hard to aim.

However, the graphics were great and I'm sure I would have enjoyed it if my laptop could run it properly (it could only reach 20fps on the lowest graphics settings).

Also, 950mb is a lot for a jam game. You should look into which textures/sounds take up the most space and compress/remove them.

I agree on this, i would add more variant of AI and different map areas to explore next time. Also the map was initially going to be the inside of a shoe but this wasn't working out so just used a demo map. I will definetly look into optimisation next time around :) Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Pretty fun and nice game, overall already pretty good, will be even better if you put more variation in the game (more enemy type, more gun to use, etc). Also enemy SFX will make it better to indicate if the enemy hit the player or any other info. Nice job for completing the game!

Developer

Yeah i would add a mini map next time and more areas for the player to get to. The SFX were definetly a weak point in my game so ill learn for the next one :D  Thanks for playing!

This looks awesome. Great job.

A Top down shooter!  I am very bad playing at those, so I couldn't survive long :D.

It was fun, and well made.  I didn't find any bug.  The city background is good.  The only thing I would change is that the yellow circle of the player is a bit distracting, and the spiders (in contrast) are a little hard to see.  I didn't hear any music or sound effects in the game, but I hear them in the video...

Even so, a very fine entry, and a game fun to play.  You can expand it on different scenarios for each wave, for example.  Good work!

Sorry, it was my PC that didn't reproduce the sound.  I will try to solve it and play again.

Thanks a lot! I definetly needed some more time to work on the map, thats why im using a free pre-made demo map off the marketplace. I would have liked to add more enemies but difficult with it being a free project although i did think about mixamo this was just a short demo game :D
