Good music. Unfortunately I couldn't turn. This is an issue in a lot of games for me so I assume it's some sort of bug in Unity itself.
Not turning was a moderate issue, as I was mostly able to proceed.
Thank you very much for your comment! It is strange you couldn't turn; it can't be a Unity bug, because the game was made in Unreal...
good concept for always transferring dimension for 7 second. I hope the "square room" dimension is changed with more purposeful dimension rather than only square room. What I'm trying to say is, I think its better if you make both of the dimension, have the same impact and importance. For example, in dimension 1, you need to reach location A. In Dimension2, you need to reach location B. So there is something to do in any dimension rather than just waiting in a room for 7 second. anyway, good job for completing the game!
Thank you for your comment!
Yes, in the first level you have to wait in one dimension, and the second level on the other one. The original idea was to put some other "action" in the "less" important level, like some enemies, and some dynamic traps like arrows or fire walls you had to disable or beat, (I wanted to try to put an archer dynamic to the player) but I didn't have enough time to do so.
Very cool game, had a lot of fun finding the connections between the two dimensions!! And awesome music!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice concept! I agree a bit with AntiCebo. Would be cool if you could have some skill to maybe peek into the other dimension.
Thank you very much for your comment! You are right, it is a problem I will have to solve.
Good combination of the 2 different worlds, it was quite atmospheric. I like the gameplay idea, but I found it very frustrating that you always need to guess where the platforms in the other dimensions are. There was too much lot of trial & error, but it's on the right track to a fun game :)
Thank you for your comment! Yes, it needs to be tested to put the platforms on a good spot so it is not frustrating, that is why I didn't restart the level when dead. Thank you for playing!
It's nice to see another UE developer around :D and btw I enjoyed the game. Great job.
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it!
The graphics and the mechanics were really polished. Even though it was pretty heavy on my pc it was good to have implemented a options menu!!!! Really enjoyed the whole experience!!!
Thank you very much! Yes, I learned later that UE 5 is very heavy to run. I will return to UE 4.27 that is way better, so my games can be played without so much trouble. Thank you for playing! I am very glad you enjoyed it. :D
Very intense game. I was always scare where did i stand :) haha. Good job.
Thank you!
Juicy picture. Great job!
Thanks!
Really impressive graphically! Switching between two dimensions fits the theme perfectly, of course! I was a bit confused by the timer at first, since the format of the numbers made it seem like minutes and seconds, but the clue was in the title. :)
I found it was a lot safer not to move when a dimensional transition was upcoming, but that meant a lot of standing around waiting and I also had trouble figuring out where to go, I could see the levers I needed to press but not the routes to get to them. I'm also not super sure what the benefit of the portal was once I activated it.
Thank you very much for your comment!
Yes, I had planned to put up some decals with explanations, like the button one, but I didn't have time to do so. The portal is a way to the second level, nothing more. The original idea was to use portals like puzzles, but I could only implement the very last one like this.
Thank you for playing!
Wow, Unreal Engine really did you dirty here. 1 GB AND an install?? Crazy
What do you mean, an install? It is only compress on a .rar file...
Yes, it is a big file! Unreal packs really big. I deleted all I could, because the initial one was near 2Gb...
For whatever reason, when I ran the application it took me to an install window with a terms and conditions page...
Could you please send me a screenshot? Because I didn't put any install and/or condition page.
Sure but you'll have to wait a few hours, just busy at the moment
No problem
So I didn't read it before but it's an install for C++ Unreal Engine, I can't seem to send pictures for some reason, but it's definitely a third party software that's required to play
Ok, thank you! You scared me for a moment... :D
Really enjoyed this game, seems to be a bit jittery on my pc but still didn't take away from the enjoyability! Overall well crafted and challenging just as a game should be! I would potentially change the texture on the text in menus as it was difficult with my bad eyes to read but otherwise super enjoyable!
Thank you very much! Yes, the texture of the menu was more of an experiment than anything else. :D
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is a great game, Challenging at that - love the music!
Thank you very much! It was fun to make!!
I resisted the button for less than 7 seconds. Very cool music to go with a more challenging puzzle than I expected, plenty of layers to try to understand each time the timer runs out! I highly recommend this one to people looking for some good Jam.
Thank you very much for your comment! It was fun to make, and I am really glad it is fun to play also.
why the size is to much and i cant play it as i have mac
The size is big because it is an Unreal project, and Unreal doesn't build small games. I have tried to minimize it all I could, but I couldn't reduce more than that. I don't have a Mac, so I can't do a build for it. Even so, thank you for trying to play it!
Very unique design and mechanics! Was a bit of a challenge but had fun with it. Dont push the button!
Thank you! It was fun to make.
