It's a fun game! I enjoyed the sound and controls. You did a great job creating two different enemy movements. If you keep developing this game, please add that the enemies will progressively get faster and stronger as time passes. Thank you for your submission.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! And I completely agree, there need to be more enemy types with different strengths, attacks, and abilities. I'd like to keep working on that after the jam for sure.

The little dashing robot is so Overpowered!! You can just keep dashing through enemies with it. Loved all the little details like the knock back when you shoot, the after images when the little robot dashes, squash and stretch when the bullets are shot. The animations are very good and smooth.

Developer

Yep that saw robot is kind of all you need. lol. In the future I'd like to make clearer distinctions between the different player characters in terms of strengths and weaknesses, among other things. Thank you for playing!

I like how the character would recoil when shooting. I hate to be the one who has to clean up all the bodies though. Do the ladder and the platforms lead to anywhere?

Developer

How can you know the magnitude of your victory if not for the piles of bodies you leave in your wake? Currently, no, the ladder and platforms don't lead anywhere. There were a lot of half-finished ideas in this game, and after the jam I'd like to keep working on it so that all the elements (hopefully) make sense and support each other. Thanks for playing!

Pretty good start to a game, i could see this mechanic working and becoming a larger game where you require all 3 different players to achieve different outcomes. I played it on my youtube and gave my feedback as I was playing if you want to check it out you can here

Developer(+1)

Just watched your video, that was a super helpful experience for me. And your feedback was spot on. I would love to keep developing it into something where all the different bots have unique strengths that become strategically more relevant. Also, gotta fix those colliders (and animation bugs, and interface confusion, etc etc). And also, you seemed to think it was cooler than I did, which helps me want to keep going with it. Really, thanks for checking it out!

Very unique game play and style! I like the addition of the robots too! Gives me options and allows for a strategic and complex approach when defending and managing the different characters. Besides being able to cheese the enemies when controlling the human, it's a pretty solid game!

Developer(+1)

Yeah it's kind of just a basic mechanic at the moment, but I think it could become something where the different characters must be used to work together in a strategic way. I plan to keep working on it after the jam. Thanks for playing!

I found the pacifist route (after some trail and error...)

the little bot was a beast, wholey moley.
if you keep working on it:
please! give it a super mean sound as your first order of action. like a circular saw or something.
I also really liked the color palette - proper dystopian!

Developer(+1)

omg i know, i called it "SliceBot" in my project, and it's dying for a buzzsaw sound. Sadly time and lack of experience got in the way of making this into a real game, but I do intend to try to turn it into something after the jam. Thanks for playing!

Developer(+1)

and also yeah, you successfully worked the physics bugs to your advantage, :p

Very cool concept and I love the style of the pixel art! The gameplay does feel a little bare-bones atm, but I'd be excited to see where a game like this could go. Nice work!

Developer

It is absolutely barebones. By the time I managed to get the basic mechanics working I was out of time. I do plan to keep updating after the jam and see what it can become. Thanks for playing the buggy mess that it is!

I like the speedy bot!

Developer

The speedy bot is a fan favorite for sure. :) Thanks for playing!
