Nice shooter game! The shooting felt solid. One thing that would have been nice to add is hit markers since I didn't know where I was getting shot from. Great game though and I liked the intro cutscene!

Thank you!

The game has some standout features, like its artwork and mechanics, that contribute to a unique experience. It's quite enjoyable, though there’s potential for even greater refinement. Good job!

Thank you! It's my first game jam and I really pushed right up to the deadline trying to refine it as much as I could.

Congratulations on completing your first game jam. It was my first as well and I had a blast...

I dig the music, love the cinematics and general setup work (excellent main menu). I did feel like I'd suddenly get shot and simply drop dead from full health or near-full health a little too often. Is there just a chance the law enforcement gets a headshot and kills you flat-out?

Regardless, lots of cool polish here, very nicely done!

Thanks for playing! You die if you cross the line of police cars. It's meant to be the sniper you can see in the 3rd screenshot. I know there isn't a good indication of that due to time, sorry, it's just a different shot sound.

Ohhh, I see. Yeah, sorry, screenshots with this game jam are kind of all over the place so I don't always pay attention to them. But what you said makes sense! :)

Nice job on this submission! The cinematics at the start were really fun - great instinct to smash to black for the car crash, and use sound fx. The game ran a little sluggish on my machine, and was auto-full screen which made it quite big on my ultrawide. I think you could add some pick ups around the place to add some more dynamics to gameplay. Also, 3D sound would help the player orient to where they are being shot from. Well done!

Developer

Thank you! Definitely agree sound location should be more clear and should have quality options. I'm very new to this. :)

Really cool fun game! I really enjoyed the gunplay, it was really entertaining.

The intro is really well made but would be cool if you could skip it when you are restarting the game.

Also with these types of games, it's great when you provide mouse sensitivity settings but that would be just a cool nice touch, my mouse can change DPI so when I put it on lowest, it was great.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Skipping the intro was on my list of things to do, but didn't get to it. I'll keep mouse sensitivity in mind for the future.
