the game is good but in the second level i killed all of them but didnt win, maybe there are additional enemies and they are invisible , you have to make that clear because everybody dont know the theme will thing that this is a bug

advices: make screen shake when shooting , make animations

good luck

I like that the visuals follow a comprehensive style, but I found that the game skips the theme entirely, unless I missed the enemy.

I played it for a while as the gameplay is simple but was soon bored as nothing unexpected or interesting happened.  You can look into improving the enemy AI or adding more interactive elements in the scene to ensure that there is enough activity throughout the session

Thanks for playing and giving feedback :)

Deffinately like the visual part of the game, it could do with some animations here and there though.
Sadly this game doesn't seem to fit the theme at all, as there don't seem to be any invisible monsters. (Perhaps the "invisible" part of the enemy comes from what emotion it represents? But that's my best guess.)

The enemies could also do with some basic AI so they chase you, to make the game have a little more thrill to it. And there were too many hearts, which removed basically any feel of danger from the enemies.

Another quick note, it's quite easy to get a lot of hearts very quickly, since the 2 levels seem to reset every time you enter one, so to collect a lot of hearts you just have to go to the big level, then back to the small one, collect the hearts, then go back to the big one, and repeat.

This game could use a bit more work. But congradulations on keeping your motivation up and creating this submission!

We wish you the best of luck in future JAMs! :)

Thank you so much for the feedback, that's great to hear which part to improve, and yes, they are all good suggestions on making this game better.

I will take these points into my next jam and make sure my next game includes these kind of mechanics.

I agree wilt Svalinn. The art was the best part, but it would have been nice to have some running animation. The enemies didn't provide any challenge and there were way too many hearts. Does the game continue after the second room? It was quite massive and I tried to hunt down all the enemies but then eventually got bored.

glad you like the art and thank you for playing and giving feedback :) I will definitely try to do a better job in my next jam, https://itch.io/jam/scream-machine

The idea of a black and white hand drawn style game was really neat. Issues were that music stops for good after 1 loop and that, well, I couldn't find any invisible enemy ^^

Yes, you're quite right, I will do better in my next jam - but thanks for trying my game :)
