Very cool game. Deserved 5 stars.
Thanks a lot :)
I like the art & overall theme of this. I found the flash light direction limit a bit awkward along with some of the platforming. Cool game overall.
Thanks for the feedback. I did try to give full range flashlight but it turned out that since you also attack and jump with the mouse it was really confusing on the direction... but I'll probably try and find ways of improving that :)
Congratulations for the game :D
I realy liked the concept, adds a good edge to the plarform genre. If you guys continue developing it, think all the game needs are some adjustments to the level design.
Thanks you for the feedback!
And well.. this was my first time ever doing level design so I can understand it might not be excellent but I'm always trying to improve :)
Just.. there're no "guys", in the plural form, I did this completly solo :)
WOW!!! That was a realy good job 👏👏👏
I rly liked the art style. The cells floating in the background are amazing!
I can see this going further into a metroidvania. Of course with a little changes with the attack (vitamin) mechanics.
The onyl thing that got me its the tutorial parts, rly break the game pace and I wish I could just skip the conversation to play it more.
Nice Job!
I thank you for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Yeah that tutorial part has been one of the main compains up until now so it's probably going to change as soon as I start working on expanding this (if it gets goor feedbacks in the jams ^^ )
I can really see this turning into a full game.
After the jam, go for it bro!
I like the floaty platforming thats going on, and the art looks very polished. If there was a skip tutorial button, or a way to go through text with just key press rather than a button, it'd make second/third plays more.
Thank you for your feedback :) I'm glad you liked and I tool note od the suggestion. If che game will have good ranking at the end of rating I'll work on improving it and ai'll add the skip tutorial and a way to just type all test out as one of the first improvements :)
Quality submission. Rated highly
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it :)
I really like the visuals and the emotion you paint with the lights and everything. Game was a bit too hard for me tho.
Thanks a lot for your feedback!
Was it the jumps that were too hard? It was my first time doing level design so any feedback in that reguard is highlòy appreciated :)
I will expand on the game and recalibrate many aspects on it based on such feedbacks if this gets positive "reviews" ;)
I'm sorry but the game was really ruined by the slow-ass text. I really wanted to complete the game, because I don't like leaving comments on games that I didn't play through, but I just couldn't. I'm too impatient. I can at least compliment the art, which looked legit. Maybe think about releasing a downloadable version too, because I was lagging quite a lot.
I'm sorry you found the text that daunting. If that might console you there's only 3 text dialogues inside the whole game that teaches how to play and all of the rest is text free.
And if you scroll the page down you'll see that the downloadable version is already there :)
Oh I didn't realize that the downloadable versions were below.
I'll maybe come back to try the game again in a few days with now knowing that there's not that much dialogue.
No sweat, I'm just sorry the text wasn't to your liking but how they say: "everyone got's different tastes" :)
If you ever come back to it and get to the part after the little tutorial phase at the beginning I hope you'll have fun and welcome any feedback :)
Okay the game was so much better now when I downloaded it instead of playing in browser. The text wasn't that slow and I really liked the atmosphere and the graphics. Navigating was a bit difficult, but otherwise enjoyed it.
I'm glad you could enjoy it :)
Brilliant use of the theme. Very good art
Thanks :D
I really enjoyed the gameplay and the level was extremely well made.
The jumpy was a bit annoying tho..
Thank you for your feedback! Yeah... Since it was my very first time doing level design I was worried about making the jumps too easy and I might overshooted it a little bit.. If the game gets positive feedbacks I'll work on expanding it in the future and I'll try to recalibrate the jumping routes :)
