I really like the concept and the execution of choice-based adventure games and I really do like the adherence to the 2020 theme. However, I feel like the UI could use a bit of work. Some of the boxes overlap the buttons and one of the minigames confused me, which was the wildfire minigame. I had to play it three times before I figured out what to do. Regardless, I did enjoy myself playing this.
Thanks for the feedback! I've been having some problems with organising UI so its good on different screen resolutions and it haven't been working out. I'll work on it and find a good solution to it. Anyways, thanks for testing my game out too!
The adherence to the theme was really good. I really liked the concept too. The UI and audio could have been a bit better but overall , you summarized 2020 in a really good way. Kudos!!
Thanks for the feedback! :D
Played the game but I am kinda confused about what the hell is going on in the gameplay, and UI is not good because it was overlapping on other UI or so, maybe needs some improvement in gameplay for better understanding overall really good sound, decent game!
Hi, thanks for playing! To have the best experience, play it in fullscreen mode, else the UI might overlap, I think that's what caused the issue. Yep I probably need to explain the game/ have a better instruction system lel because I realized how bad my explanations were :P
Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it!
The entire 2020.
Amazing work.
I thought it will have a way to save Koby Bryant as well.
Don't forget to play my game as well.
Ah yep 2020.
I don't know much about basketball which makes it a little harder to research and make about too much stuff. If I didn't live under a rock I might have covered more stuff hahaha :)
Yep I've already tried your game out :D
No Worries.
So much stuff has happened that even Ubisoft will take years to make a 2020 simulator.
Very nice concept and fits the theme really well! Had a great time playing :D
Thanks for the feedback! :D
Would be great if you could try out our game too! :D
Sure! I'll try it out soon. I've been trying to play and rate everyone else's games too :)
Amazing adherence to the theme and i like all the concepts implemented i do think there should have been one or two more mini games but what you have is personally fun. Only gripe is the amount of text but thats more of a personal thing for me that when you have too much text in your game it really bogs down the experience and slows the player down and the pacing. overall its really fun tho good job :)
Thanks for the feedback! I could have added a few more mini games but I was a little short on time on my end, I'll keep that in mind next time. :D
Hmm... yea I could have made the pacing of the game better too, maybe reduce the storyline a little. :P
Very ambitious game, sort of like 3 mini-games in one, but you adhered to the theme very well! I thought doing all the instructions through cell phones was a fun touch too. All of the illustrations were pretty cute and I think you did a great job on them. My main criticism is that the different scenarios to the game had wildly different difficulties to them. Putting out the fires was difficult and somewhat confusing but I got it eventually. Creating the vaccine I felt was actually far too simple (even more simple than in my game 😆) but then the scenario with the riot police I literally could not find a way past. I don't actually know if there's more to it, but I felt like I tried every combination of buttons during that scenario and it all ended the same. If you could find a way to make the difficulty more consistent between scenarios I think it would help the game tremendously as a whole. As a minor criticism I also think the music loop is too short, its nice and fun for a while but by the time you're at the riots it starts to become annoying.
Woah! Thanks so much for the feedback, really helps a small developer like me :)
Ah yea the final stage was actually meant to always show a bad ending. I purposely put the next button even in the losing scenes ;)
So at the start I introduced that the ending will be rigid as the future is hard to change. The first two had a way to be beaten but thats because I felt bad hehe :P
I also realised I could have explained the minigames a little better as the wildfires level isn't supposed to be too confusing. I'm not very good at level design, I'll try to learn to balance the game a little more :D
I'll work on the music! My music theory and stuff is trash so I only managed to make the looping music.
Anyways, thanks for trying my game out!
Had a nice message and fit the theme well! Gameplay was a little confusing, particularly the wildfire portion. But overall, simple and well done!
Thanks for the feedback! I could probably have arranged the UI layout of the game a little better and make it less confusing, maybe split it into a few scenes. Anyways thanks for trying my game out!
SImply, it is a great game with a great story. I enjoyed it playing. Great art work!!
Thanks for the feedback!
