- I really like the idea of the game, but this is just too short and it lacks a lot of content.
- What an original idea! I'd like to see the concept developed further.
- A sombre glimpse into how life could be if I hadn't escaped back home at the start of the pandemic. Funny and well-written, I just wish it was longer! Forth is such a cool choice for GBA dev too.
- Nice adventure engine, I did not make it out of the house!

It is an interesting adventure. Good Job!
Thanks!
Short and, uh, "sweet"? Pretty accurate portrayal of #lockdownlyfe tbh.
While experimenting to see if anything different happened if you didn't eat the mushrooms, I discovered that the day counter display is in hex 🤣
Nice job!
Haha, yea there was a reason the days were set to 1000. Didn't think anyone would get far enough to notice :D
And thanks :)
Well presented.
I didn't get very far on my little playthrough. It might have been better to give the player the option to eat the mushrooms or not. Because naturally in adventure games, you click everything; so after going to the fridge and eating mushrooms to then get a message saying "Don't eat them", well, it wasn't much of a choice.
thanks for the comment :)
Yes, thismushroom decision was kind of borne by necessity. I didn't have too much time to work on this but still wanted to present the player with a somewhat complete story. So I put it on rails.
I thought I could find the key to break free!
Also, Has these mushrooms grown up in the fridge, because the fridge is broken?
Yea, mostly because of development time constraints I wanted to make the player feel trapped in an eternal loop without hope of escape, like Covid under lockdown makes you feel.
I did purposefully put the EXIT sign next to the front door, so the player feels that's the goal. What I didn't think about is that game players foremost are primed to solve puzzles. I hoped that people would just get that they're stuck in a loop, but people expect there to be a solution, so it's probably too much of a frustrating experience in the end.
Ha, I didn't think of the fridge actually being broken. I really like that idea. That is official lore now!
And thanks for playing my game :)
