  • Nice game! The AI in the one player mode isn’t too hard to beat, though.
  • Great entry! The AI is a bit hit or miss. The first time I played, when I didn't know what I was doing, I started building my chain from the edge, and the AI beat me mercilessly and seemed pretty smart. After a few games the AI started to feel a bit too easy for me. Overall, it's very well made and enjoyable!
  • Bees should really keep at this game design thing, I think they have a knack for it! A well themed and well polished entry. I wish there was a difficulty setting for the CPU opponent. The chat-noir minigame was a nice addition too which made me feel nostalgic!
  • Good entry! With a little more work it could become a great game. Some notes: - I like the music and the presentation: even with the cells being small, it can be played on a GBA Micro without issues. - I guess the biggest issue with the game is that the CPU is too easy: adding more difficulty levels would be great. However, the minigame is too difficult for me xD - I like that you've added a two players mode, an ingame tutorial and some options too.
  • A good implementation of a classic game with a unique yet very well fitting theme. I enjoyed the additional minigame too. The AI was a good addition but I found it was hard to lose to it, I could see the strategy it was trying but it never seemed to be able stop me from just drawing a straight line across the board.

Jam ROM submission

Ok - understood! I attached the GBA ROM file as "MYGAMENAME_jam.gba".

Perfect puzzle game. Alongside with 2048 of the same GBA Jam, they are regulars now on my regular play game library. I love playing it, and I find it one of the best games to play with and improve my kids strategic thinking. As a suggestion, maybe the IA can be improved. Thanks for this great title!

This game is really well done, the menu, animations, transitions and the tutorial are amazing. To win against AI is very easy in my opinion, I guess it is made for 2 players to play. Am I wrong or does the player who first occupy a cell will always win? I like the minigame a little bit more, it is a lot harder to win or you need a little luck with the initially occupied cells. Anyway really nice entry for the jam and definitely made with love. :)

first i'd heard of this board game, this is a nice and approachable explanation/implementation! though i have yet to figure out how to win at the larva minigame 😅

I like the presentation overall, but I think the bee used for placement looks more like the cursor than the drop shadow does. I even misplaced a couple times against the ai because of it.
