Sry for that. I tested again in windows and could see the hearts at the top, a little bit cutted off. Maybe because my window was not high enough. Before I tested with linux in a vm. Maybe because of a unfavorable screen resolution I could not see the hearts.

Very cool and creative adaption of breakout to the jam theme. Best part is how you can open your paddle to let to ball go through to the other side. The pixel art looks amazing. Retro sounds are perfect. Only the red/yellow area around the paddle in the center doesn’t fit too well to the overall style.
Nonetheless great jam entry.
Happy new year.
Really creative game idea. I like the visual style a lot, the chalk drawing reminds me of crayon physics, and the wobbly animation of baba is you. Amazing. The little walkers are really cute. Great that you also have a web build. Would be cool to have a display what chalk color you currently have selected, or buttons to select the different colors could be a good addition. Nonetheless an outstanding jam entry.
Happy new year.
Awesome golf and Zelda fusion :). Was a lot of fun to play through. It can get tricky sometimes. In third level I checked out the level bounds a lot, especially to the bottom XD. Didn’t encounter any problems with the game. I can definitely see myself playing a full game with it. It’s amazing that you have also integrated a level editor in such a short time.
Really great entry.
Happy new year.
Really great game concept. Also the puzzly aspect is awesome. You have to think to get all coins. The switch up/down player mechanics is genius. I like asthetics, reminding me of old nokia phone games. Would be nice if the exits were marked/highlighted somehow.
Congrats on that great entry.
Happy new year.
PS: Sorry for mentioning not having sounds, my pc had a problem and I have currently no sound at all. Not your fault.
Very creative game idea. I like the momentum building. I feel like there should be a lot more coins in different heights and depths to collect, to give the jumping and burrowing more meaning. I have a lot less obstacles, compared to your video, don’t know why. My final score of my best run was:
Great entry nonetheless.
Happy new year.
Very nice game idea, perfect for christmas. The pixel art look awesome. For some reasons in the first two passes I did the correct order of packages but the game still recognized only a few of them as correct. Afterwards everything was working correctly. Idk. Maybe because I used a linux vm for testing.
Nonetheless a great entry.
Happy new year.
Nice one button game. Simple but effective. I like the theme interpretation.
Feel free to check out my sources on how to setup a letterbox fitted camera to get a resolution independant game. (See ui_cam and game_recalc_ui_camera in game.odin)
I also recommend to multiply your movement with raylibs GetFrameTime() to be frame rate independant. (See game_simulate with dt variable in my sources if you are interested)
Happy new year.
Amazing, is it kind of mini version of ocean mirror in 2.5D, :) ? The visuals are just stunning. So much polish and bling bling already everywhere, the wobble of the player when jumping, the recoil when shooting, waves at the shores, the trails of the small flyers, the particles, and and and. Astonishing what you achieved in that short amount of time. Really great work. Happy new year.
Very creative game idea. If you don’t catch your boomerang, I like how you have a small delay until you can throw again. This delay could eventually be a bit higher, so the game is a little harder. Else you could go on forever, I stopped at score: 380. The cute main character graphics and the boomerang animations are awesome. Happy new year.
The best comes at the end.
A big compliment for your game entry. Combining twitch chat with a tamagotchi game is a very creative idea.
The social aspect of your game is great, bringing all together to play in chat.
Bu, your blobbos are very adorable, with very cute animations and the funny hats are brilliant.
I guess fighting twitch api and throwing togehter all game features in that short amount of time must have been exhausting for you Togis, but very impressive you managed to do so.
I like that the stats of my personal blob not only exists, but are actually relevant, for example for the running minigame, awesome you added that too.
I don't need to mention the small problems like chat spamming and balance, because you already know about and did already fix them in post jamming. I'm sure you will work on your twitch overlay to provide us with more more fun in the future and we are very blessed.
Big thanks for organizing this great jam, it was a pleasure to be a part of it.
Thanks for you feedback. Glad you like our game beside it's issues.
Concerning your playthrough, I'm sure there is no bug. To wash him just grab the sponge and hover it over the dragon longer, don't click. I also guess the mood of little dragon was low. He refuses everything under 25% mood. Try to raise mood first, by directly pet him after he slept as long as possible to reach mood 100%. Then wash him until 0% dirtyness. Always clean poop as fast as possible. Then you can feed him as you like.
Congrats on your jam game. Really creative game idea and theme interpretation. The movement of the truck feels so smooth. The 3D truck and world looks cool, the ripped gotchi made me laugh. Time to deliver stuff is relatively short, but I managed keep my gotchi 4 minutes alive, don't know how good this is, but I'm proud. Nice idea that you can collect anti items, harming your gotchi. Trees and items outside the square world don't look too good,
Nonetheless, very fun to play arcardy game you made.
Btw. I wonder why construct uses nearly 3000 objects for that small scene, but who knows. XD
Very interesting game idea, to throw and call back your tamagotchi, I like that. With the retro music, the nice pixel art and the slightly curved screen, it's the perfect arcade feeling. For me it was relativly easy to win but still a lot fun to play. The game has a lot potential, please keep developing it afterwards.
Adding a XP bar, showing progress of the current level, and a nice sound when you pick up a piece of pizza will raise your game to next level. But I know, time was short.
Very well done. I want more pizza XD
What is going on, we have tamagotchi / monster taming theme and you managed to deliver a facorio like game. Thats awesome and even the theme fits so well. The 3D object and the landscape look amazing, impressive you pulled that off by yourself in that short amount of time. It took me a while to find out what and how to build to fulfill the tasks, but once you get solve them, it's very satisfying. Adding tooltips to the building buttons describing what they do, would have made that entry perfect. Huge congrats. Really nice game you made.
First of all, congratulations on that great entry for the jam. The desktop app / multi window look and feel is pretty unique. I really like Her 3D room, it looks so cool, did you model it in blender? It is really nicely lit.
I waited for some minutes and did not fulfill Her wishes .... and ... I think i killed Her XD. Revitalization measures did not help. Tried to cuddle Her, nothing helped, i think that's intended, which is ok. :)
Nonetheless a very creative and fun game. I enjoyed playing it every minute and caring for Her, sending Her around, watching Her doing Her stuff. Very cute.
Incredibly fun game. You've implemented so many great ideas, there was even a little breakout mini-game integrated, brilliant. I like the art style so much. The bally cat is absolutely gorgeous. Your wife did a great job on the backgrounds also, they look fantastic. I only got to level 3 once, I guess I missed one or two great details you included, because I was unable to reach higher levels. The amount of detail you put into your game is very astonishing, concerning the short amount of time of the jam. The left right movement of the pinball pad thingys are a tiny bit to slow for my taste. I would also prefer moving the pads with the mouse and use left right mouse button for activating them. Just a thought.
