- Holy crap, I'm beyond words! Looks and sounds amazing, each boss is just brimming with creativity. Handling the complex controls while sticking to the rhythm is quite hard, it did make my hands hurt... but it was worth it!
- This one was pretty hard to get used to, but it’s very cool! The tutorial is really necessary.
- I'm speechless :) Awesome work. One of the best entries of the jam IMO. Some notes: - Easy mode is great for players like me that aren't good at rythm games, and the tutorial is great for teaching how the game works (other entries are worse in that regard). Lots of polish in that regard. - Awesome graphics and music, especially in the last boss. - The second boss was cool, with the flying part. - The third boss was great too, with the classic music game notes flying at you. - But what can I say about the last boss: fantastic music, the video as backdrop and all that butano fan service! What more can I ask for :) - The only negative thing about the game is that I want more bosses because I want to keep playing it :)
- Great idea and execution! Really well made! Unfortunately, I struggled with the difficulty a bit even with the easy setting.

The art direction is consistent across all screens, which is very pleasing. The gameplay is twirling - with its motivating electro/rock music and super-stylish solos. I'm having a bit of trouble not getting bogged down between the movement and targeting buttons, but in easy mode it's fine!
And I love the idea of playing a magical horse!
Hi, Fralacticus!
Glad to hear you enjoyed the game! Amazing to hear that the music fulfills its role. The process of composing and adapting each song and their sections for the game was really fun!
Don't worry about the movement/targeting conundrum, it comes quickly with practice! Hope you can keep playing and enjoying our game. The challenge of harder difficulties makes it very rewarding!
i'm sadly insufficiently well coordinated these days to get through the tutorial, but i watched someone else play it, and can i just say *WOW* that final boss sequence! the presentation and aesthetic all throughout is chef's-kiss-perfection. excitedly recommended this to all my friends that are into rhythm games.
Thanks for the kind words and for sharing the game with your friends! It means a lot to us. Cheers!
I'm not a very rhythmic person, but after some effort, I was able to finish Easy mode. The game is really fun, and the art and music are fantastic! I especially liked how the story consistently breaks the fourth wall.
Just a note: I played on a Game Boy Player, and the Rumble feature wasn't working. Could that be addressed in a future update?
Cool! Yeah, for now it only supports cartridge Rumble, like the one included in the EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition or carts from insideGadgets. We'll look into add GB Player Rumble for the next update.
What a great and beautiful game!
Thanks so much! Glad you like it.
The tutorial says to jump at the next beat if there's a ground obstacle, but in practice that doesn't seem to be the correct timing most of the time. Worse, trying to jump over ground obstacles is throwing me off the beat.
Also, what's the point of telling the player to not use keyboard? I don't see why that would matter, and also if the player is using an emulator on PC, then there's no guarantee they own a gamepad.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. That should be the correct timing most of the time. The only exception is on Synth Wizard, where it's two beats (the rock appears -- next beat it starts blinking, next beat player jumps), sorry if that's not clear.
Also, if it's not working that way for you, and you're playing on an emulator, try calibrating again.
The keyboard warning is there because the game plays better on a real GBA, a handheld device, or a gamepad. Most of the time you need to lock your aim, point and shoot, and due to N-key rollover issues it might not work depending on how you set up keys.
