Full screen really kills a game boy vibe of the game, I dont know if it can be changed. You enable player more control over the arm like if you hold a it moves vertical and if you hold b it moves horizontal, I think that would feel more natural at least for me. And dirt that you need to dig should maybe have more weight to it so it doesn't fly everywhere, and way you implemented it it's heavy on computing so I encounter lag at first.
It has problems but with a warmer art and more time into it can be good idea for this jam. 

i can't play the game is bad

I like the concept but feel it could've been executed better,  the particles cause some lag here and there and the crane arm controls feel way too stiff
