I enjoyed the unique take of rhythm based action! the sound design and flare really adds to the feel too!

I'm glad you appreciate the difficulty curve!

That's a great first run and thank you for the kind words, Celeste and SMB were huge inspirations for this.

I want more people to try Speedrunning but no idea how to get them to lol.

Thank you for playing woahseph!

8-10 is what I initially expected it would take most people tbh.

Posting this here if any of you want to try beating my dev pb time ;)

Hello Everyone! I am happy to announce the launch of my first ever full solo game!

Martian Red is a retro inspired 2d platformer about a cute little martian that crash-landed on an earthlike planet and needs to collect gems to return home. I've worked really hard on this over the past year and I hope all of you thoroughly enjoy it!

If you enjoy your experience please consider supporting the game through sharing and donating, also please go support all the wonderful asset creators listed in the credits without whom this game would not have been possible.

Thank you so much for checking it out!

This is a nice more difficult alternative to sudoku, this was my first time playing a nonogram game, you've made it pretty nicely :)

This is a nice more difficult alternative to sudoku, this was my first time playing a nonogram game, you've made it pretty nicely :)

Could you please add ways to automate things? being super duper late into the game and only having the the million gold achievement left its really frustrating to still have to plant and water everything myself especially since energy runs out so fast and there no way to increase max energy over time.

Do the resolution and quality settings actually work because it doesn't seem like they do, I haven't played all the way through yet but just asking, I have a potato 😅

Its like im batman and the riddler is very religious.

The controls feel a bit tight also the fact that its randomly generated makes it impossible sometimes, I love the art however it really pops and stands out, great job but the controls could be improved.

thank you for checking out the game and for your feedback :)

also, yes you indeed don't need all raindrops to win but you get different levels of plant growth at the end based on the amount of drops you collect.

Thank you so much! were you able to try it out on a gameboy? we weren't able to test that so would love to know if it works :)

I really enjoyed this, I hope you expand it a bit further I had a really fun time with this :)

This was amazing and felt really nicely polished, well done!

They broke my gameboy :'(

I really enjoyed this, the puzzles kept me engaged all the way through and it was simple enough to figure out with a little bit of effort, really nicely made :)

Its simple but its really fun to keep trying, nice job!

This does feel very game boy, it has some tough spots here and there where the controls feel stiff but overall a very pleasant experience

I really liked this, feels like a legit gameboy game that I could play for hours!

I like the concept but feel it could've been executed better,  the particles cause some lag here and there and the crane arm controls feel way too stiff

This is really fun and interesting and very polished, I definitely see myself actually playing this game for hours!

I really like the tower defense mechanic and also the precise need for plant placement. I hope more levels and enemy types can be added in the future but its a solid jam game :)

I like the concept but it could have been made a little faster with some more obstacles, great design and attempt. :)

I like the battle system a lot! I would totally play a full version of this for hours, although I'd say it needs some balancing, waiting so many days for plants to grow right at the start of the game really hurts the motivation especially with things being expensive too. can't wait to see if you work on this further tho :D

Great game, really like the fast gameplay and how smooth it feels to move around, I guess you didn't stick to the controls with the mouse navigation for menus which breaks the gameboy-esque experience for me but otherwise it feels very much like a game I could spend hours on a gameboy with.

Its a nice concept but could use some polishing, also I noticed there weren't any collisions inside the shop so I could just walk out into the void.

So I noticed I can just stand on the flower and push the dudes back not sure if that has any negative repercussions. I really like the game play, you could possibly keep working on this and iterate quite a few things but certainly a job well done :)

I like it, I wish the jump arc was more natural and also being able to jump off ropes would have been nice, it definitely a tough play but its not totally unfair. Great job!

it doesnt meet the jam terms because of the menu but I wish it did, great effort though :)

I wish it was made clear beforehand which flies hurt and which flies gave points, but apart from this it was pretty simple and fun,  would love if the difficulty ramped up a bit and maybe in the future you can introduce more enemy types or even power ups, great game though. One thing I noticed is that I could extend a bit beyond the screen and just sit there so perhaps having a way for the player to stop at the edges would be nice, good job :D

I like the idea of a clicker game on the Gameboy definitely a very unique idea. I do wish it was more clear what the strategy was it felt like I was just upgrading the top until I won and not sure if upgrading other parts did anything? as far as I can tell there is no audio so I assume I wont be judging on that, great game tho! :D

I'm sorry but I can't pay to simply rate your game, please make purchasing optional if you still want people to be able to pay :)

didn't think you could make a game about plants so creepy, this was a very interesting play, would love to also see how it was made the graphics are super cool!

That was such a fun play, could really see this being a game on an gameboy! great job!

The difficulty curve definitely climbs pretty fast but I really like the planting mechanic, im impressed at the amount of levels you were able to make :D

The grapple mechanic is really fun!

I wish there were more checkpoint-esque platforms along the way to the top as its really motivating to miss a jump and fall all the way down, great game tho!

I do think the theme doesnt play a major role but I still love the pollen points :D

I really like the concept, the hitboxes feel a bit rough sometimes though but great work :D
