First time I tried it lost all the text, like it tried to autodetect my language for translation and it detected spanish or something and show laguage keys instead of text, had to manually select English in settings in order to play the game properly. Anyways, didn't understand the game at first, I thought I had to pick some balls and not others then I realized I have to dodge everything until timer completed. Even it is not a bad idea since it is like a bullet hell or something, it was kinda slow and no real challenge, and also didn't quite link in my head the written story with what I was playing, too abstract for me.
Thank you for your comments! :)
On the third attempt, I got to 4 screen. The plot makes me want to go through the game, but restarting from the very beginning discourages this desire, I did not pass the 4th screen. But I liked the idea. I also didn't have sound in the game, but I saw sliders in the settings. Was there supposed to be sound in the game?
Thanks for your comments!
Unfortunately, I didn't have time to implement sound and music for the game, so the sliders don't do anything.
Known issues in the jam version:
Several other intended features didn't make it in time for the jam, but I'm hoping I can get to them after the jam is over.
Thanks for the interest in the game!
Unfortunately, I've had to take down the HTML5 version of the game due to shader incompatibilities when building, which occurs across 2 different versions of Unity. The Windows version of the game is fully functional and can still be played.
The issue with localization keys showing up has been fixed, so the game now boots directly into English. Players are still free to switch between English and Maltese in the settings menu.
The concept sounds so good but it won't run :(
Apologies, there seems to be an issue with the web build! I have a fix for it, but I don't think I'll be able to upload it until after the jam. The Windows build works fine though :) Sorry again for the hassle, and thanks for the interest in the game!
All good, it happens! Msg us after the jam when you upload it if you want us to check it out still!
Just messaging to let you know that I've taken down the HTML5 version of the game due to shader incompatibilities when building, which occurs across 2 different versions of Unity.
The Windows version works fine though (I've double checked), so you're more than welcome to download that and try out the game :)
