Technically felt a bit lost cause I don't know if I could fail or not?  Love the art and the music though. Mini games remind a lot of wario ware

I like the art and the music was great. Also a very cute theme with the ghosts and the cat!

Love the art direction and music. The moody colors are perfectly ghostly! I must admit that I think the game would benefit from a brief tutorial at the beginning! My first playthrough i did not know where the laundry and food prep places were, and did not know how to satisfy the hotel guests ( ghosts hehehe). But once i understood it was a fun play, I was delightfully surprised by how many unique minigames there were and how different they all are. Great work by all!

I didn't quite understand if i was playing it properly or not, I went to the different rooms, prepared some meal, than went to laundry, etc, and continued to next level... did I do everything right or not? not sure.. The music and visuals were good, maybe some info on how to play the game would help.

That was cool! The art and soundtrack are proficient and spooky. The concept is interesting!

The mechanics are quite confusing. It took me an entire night to find out that there was a kitchen and laundry. Even after that, I did not figure out the oven or washer games. I think they could be better explained.

I somehow managed to make myself disappear in the hall leading from the middle set of rooms to the right set of rooms, and was unable to reappear or do anything. It was a strange glitch.

All-in-all, good work!

Very interesting and different concept. Thoroughly thought thru at various levels with attention to details and ghostly graphics. Nicely done!

I wish you had a screenshot of the rhythm minigame! I really enjoyed playing that part. a bit confusing but still has some nice music and graphics. thank you for building and sharing!

Stunning presentation. Very little to say regarding the audio the graphics, as it's all just top-notch. How people extract such dulcet tones from the humble GB chip is something that eludes me, and the level of graphical fidelity makes my hands hurt just from looking at it!

On to the gameplay: And then the hotel started Friday Night Funkin'. it's really good if a little repetitive. I was expecting the game to eventually ramp up in difficulty, but it never came. There's a fair amount of standing and waiting with the occasional minigame thrown your way. Bit of a shame because the base is very good. Maybe an extra minigame and a steeoer difficulty curve would've helped but of course, the earlier part of this statement is greatly subject to the constraints of the jam.

As a last note: It's labeled as an "asset pack" when it's a full game, maybe you guys misclicked? Might be worth looking into it with the jam organiser on Discord so you could change the game's category during the jam period.

Thank you so much for the review! There are actually 6 minigames in total - when you interact with a door and it doesn't start a minigame you are intended to go to the kitchen or the laundry room, located on the left and right of the main lobby, and do the flashing minigame there.  I would definitely add a tutorial if I were to work on it more 😂

Ah, I see. A lot of effort went into this. But yeah, I noticed the frowning faces but since it didn't seem to impact anything I thought that wasn't a big deal. Also no problem!
