Does mouse movement count as part of our input?

Hi!

This question might be a lil silly but I wanted to ask, if I have arrow keys as my "d-pad", would I still be allowed to use mouse movements as an input or does that break the rules by exceeding the amount of input options?

Thanks for the help!

the gameboy (unless there is some special limited edition version of it) doesn't have mouse support, so I think that would be against the inputs

My guess is it wouldn't be allowed. The only way to really achieve "point and click" movement would be to control the pointer with arrow keys, then press A or B to initiate the movement action.

can confirm, Game Boy did not have a mouse as far as i’m aware.
here’s what the jam pages says:

Thanks everyone! Yeah that makes sense, I'll just avoid mouse input at all!
