Nice graphics, interesting game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)
This was a lot of fun to play! The scrolling of the text at both top and bottom of the screen during cut-scenes is a little confusing as a player but not nearly enough to detract from the fun. Clever boss mechanics, good story, simple but effectively challenging puzzles. Fun little action RPG!
With the exception of a couple bugs, this is a very well done. It definitely wears its major inspiration on its sleeve, but the story and setting make it feel like its own thing.

Interesting puzzle game!
Random bug notes: walking backwards from middle door area takes you outside instead of to the hub room, and I got stuck in a wall in the dark area with all the pots.
Challenging yet fun game. The main mechanic was interesting and constantly built upon itself.
