Yesses A flappyclone i don't suck at! hahaha seriously fun little game. Though I don't remember in flappy bird if you fly to high you die...but understandable that this happens.

You could go a bit further with another mode that would make it even harder where you have to dodge the clouds.

For being a "Flappy Bird Clone", this honestly is a solid little attempt. Controls work, and it plays nicely. I personally like how in your version, it's not an immediate game over if you hit the pipes. At the end of the day, you were able to put this together; you put forth the effort to make a thing, and you did it!

If you make any updates or improvements, I'd definitely come back and see what you end up doing, as I feel like you have the basic core mechanic down pat!

Well done!

Thankyou for the kind words and advice! I was thinking perhaps I do update it and play around with different ideas/expand upon the mechanics some more. It was a great learning experience and I had a lot of fun making it!

I really liked this little game. It may have not been the most attention seeking game out there, but it did what it did really well. I know this may come across like a broken record, but I really liked the fact you didn't get insta-killed when touching spikes. It let me know that this was more than just flappy bird. This shows you have potential and I will like to see what you make in the future!

Thanks! Its odd that the second chance kind of feature was really borne out of laziness lol but I enjoyed it a lot and eventually even preferred being further back on the screen to have more time. Definitely adds a little more depth than original FB. I guess thats the lesson I should take away, even minor changes can have significant effects! Thankyou so much for playing, I'll be sure to check out your game!

I really like the recovery chance you gave the player in this. It looks like you learned a lot while making this, all the basic mechanics of a game are here. I know you told me not to play this, but I wanted to return the favour!

Keep making games and practising! :)

Interesting mechanic to still get a chance of recovering after colliding, feels nice.

A bit small, glad you are working on a scaled version.

I'm just glad you gave us a bit of time to get back up after hitting the obstacles! :D

Surprisingly it feels easier a little further back on the screen ;) an unintended consequence I decided to keep as the main mechanic instead of instakilling you with the pipes, I decided to wait until your off screen, allowing a few mistakes and experimentation. Thanks for playing my silly little game!

This game is flappier than flappy bird, goal achieved :D
