The idea was to let the character dodge all the obstacles along the way to her office, and gain enough confidence score as her dodging the obstacles. I guess the visual is not well designed so people might have trouble figuring out what's the goal of the game xp

I was trying to make some relation between combo and confidence score such that the more combo you have, the easier you will gain the confidence score. But the formula I came out with was really awful and hard to notice 🤣
Really well timed! The 3D models also look really good, though the animation could've been better. More specifically, moving right and left felt a little too choppy, even if the time it was animated for is pretty good for a rhythm game.

The animation for left/right was actually smoother xp, like there was about 0.2s for the character move from mid to left/right, but then it made it harder to place obstacles in the right place and I was struggling calculating how far I should place the obstacle for each keystroke so when the animation played it actually can dodge the obstacle at right time.
And I was running out of time too, so I finally decide that, nah I'll just snap the character into the place and it will dodge the obstacle instantly with the keystroke🤣
Now that I think about it I could have separated the animation from colliders so it still kept the level design simple and will have a better visual xp
A nice game. The music is super hyped and on point.
I'd like to controll myself how long the bird is going to the sides, but i guess that could make the music sync a bit harder.

Actually I did make some kind obstacles that requires player to hold left/right key for a certain amount of time, and yeah they did make the level design and sync harder, as I don't want the player to be able to just hold left key and dodge a sequence of blocks all at a time.
I'm thinking a different mechanism to match the music rhythm and keystrokes so it's suitable for more complex levels.

Thanks for the feedback!! I had a lot of trouble matching the rhythms with obstacles in the game, when it gets fast-paced the animation got weird and all the dodging got messed up..... So I ended up at a simple level that can at least have the right feedback xp
I think next time instead of using colliders to check if the player hit the beat, I would try using timing to just check if the player hit the key at approximately the right time, it would be more accurate and capable of more fact-paced level design.
Both musics are from an anime called Aggretsuko, it's a really great anime, do check out sometime xD

I was thinking to add some other characters into the game too but didn't have the time for modeling etc.,
Also can't wait for session 5 xD!
