It was a bit chaotic throughout the process, good job guys on finally making a finished game!

Thanks for playing! Yeah I feel the game play is kind of weird. I was thinking about to make the scene darker as the player diving deeper, and have some light source energy as a collectible for the player to collect, and use them to light the scene in the dark deep sea. If they don't have enough light source then the vision will be very limited and they won't able to see the creatures clearly, so it's more challenging to dodge them, but the time really ran out and the creates themselves don't work that well ;p.
WASD to moving around.
Red-colored creatures will do damage and the one little green-colored creature (it's a dolphin :p) will heal.
Mission is to dive 1000m under the sea and retrieve the treasure box.
Diving speed will slow down as you dive deeper.
Sorry didn't have time to add replay button and quit button etc...
I'm switching from Unity to Unreal, this is my first Unreal game jam project, the shaders kind of broken...
Thanks for playing in advance!
Thanks for playing and all the kind words! It's been more than 3 years now and I still don't know what was going on that day ;o. I wish I didn't leave the office an hour early xp. I hope my bad grammar didn't confuse you. I did plan to have some additional little mini-games when going to the bank and at the end of the last scene but really ran out of time in the end. Also the space/enter key was supposed to be used to go through dialogues but I ran into some build issues and have to add a button for that at the very end of the jam🤣.
Hello some note from developer, didn't have time to put them into game~
- A short visual novel on how did I lose $1000
- Based on my real experience, happened on 2018 Christmas Eve
- Was trying to make different types of mini games and timeline cut scenes between different novel sections, but really ran out of time... so the first auto runer is the only little game that's kind of playable
- hope you enjoy the story and learn from my mistakes xp
- forgive me if you encountered any critical bugs
