Its kinda fun!
I like the overall aesthetic, and the premise of having to spam E on a spot while a bunch of enemies try to kill you is good, that being said some the mecanichs do lack a bit of polish. For example, I didn't really get the point of the punch, evey action the player can to do should have its own strengths and weaknesses and should encourage interesting decision making. Also the enemies can't really do anything if you play super defensively (get a couple hits in and immediately back out), passive healing is a very dangerous mechanic!
Overall though, its a fun game, good job!
I don't get the point of the punch either xd, was a last blind inspiartion.
i'm going to work on all that.
Thank you so much for the good feedback!
This is game is so fun. The low poly visuals really fit and look gorgeous. Movement and hitting enemies feel so satisfying and kept me playing for a really long time, I could just run around and hit enemies willy nilly and it would still be fun. The audio could be improved tho as it gets quite repetitive after a while, and the blood splatter on each enemy's death could be bigger just to really hit it home. Great game, keep up the good work!
Really cool game. I liked the animation intro. Visuals and gameplay are really fun. I wanted to play more and go out to explore the outside of this arena.
Oh yea, of course Excalibur has been extracted... and the king killed ^^
Love the 3D aesthetic you had going on, especially for the enemies and the king!
I wish I had some control over the character from the beginning, and I think the cutscene should've stopped after the waking-up animation. That's not to diminish the quality of the cutscene though, you did a good job on it.
I also think getting the giant sword was a bit annoying since enemies would just camp that area every time I tried going near it, and since the progress on how much it's extracted goes down over time it never really felt like I had much of a chance to begin with.
