Definitely sus but loved the juicy meat effect made me love beating meat and it is challenging
Gj for the game. I prefered tofu instead ahah Nice physics things here
I don't think it relates to the theme that well in my opinion.
I also think that there was no wear near enough JUICE, not much camera shake, minimal particles, not much colour changing or scaling. Also there wasn't a combo system or a visible UI for your score. so it felt a little bit pointless to play-ish. The UI was obviously rushed as I understand you only had 3 days to make this rather than 7 or 8.
I don't mean to come off negative as I still managed to enjoy the game; I really do like the idea of the game and could see it getting really hectic and fun if you had more time to make the game and add more features. (P.S. I liked the audio alot)
Really good job for only 3 days though!
Thank you so much for the feedback. I actually didn't think of the theme, I just had this thought of beating meat (i swear i wasn't beating mine) and I thought it just kinda bypass the theme. And I agree, polishing and adding juice were things that I did in the last 2 hours so I rushed my ass over everything so it just didn't come out as good as I hoped for
everyone deserves a chance to beat the meat for as long as they can at least once in their life, thank you for providing this educational opportunity :)
full screen on my 2560x1080 monitor was actually the wrong choice, btw, stuff spawned outside the level boundary. Switched to the normal one and no problem. I think you could've gone farther with the juice but it was surprisingly satisfying just wiggling the mouse back and forth to slap a bunch. What a sentence.
Ah yes the level scaling might have some problems, and itch has some weird problems as well since I can't seem to get it to auto-scale with each user's monitor, the auto-scale worked on all of my games before but not this one for some reason so sorry about that
and yes, this game was made for educational purposes
Fun little game, I enjoyed it!
The effects are great, but I did find it odd that the meat doesn't move with the hand (while it's on top of it). Although a bit harder to code, I think this would be a cool feature :)
Good job!
I beat the shit out of my meat, it was the only way since some evil unidentified entity was throwing fireballs at it.
Epic and nice game!! I loved beating the meat and the floppy animation with the floppy physics and sounds made it a memorable experience!!
Great game, you keep it simple without it becoming too dull!
I got 165 slaps in before a bullet spawned right on my wagyu and destroyed it =(
such is luck
